i think its foolish to have any sort of arguement over this .. time passes that's why we age and die

time is just a way to manage and organize the constant continuation of this life. time is real, we have just put it to a system of numbers that works and thats how we understand it.

I'm not encouraging an arguement, there are many opinions on this subject I have heard and I just wanted to see what you guys think.

Death and aging is not proof of Time, it is merely a biochemical process of degeneration. Time is what clocks measure, not what makes them run. Motion is the basis for time, not the other way around. Without motion, you can't measure time against anything. And its way more complicated than that because consciousness has to enter the equation (what is perceived exists), and that opens a whole new door for speculation.

But it's of an illusory basis meaning the way we perceive it is nothing as it actually exists..

Time is just a way of recording/measuring time.
But you still have to define "time".
Our understanding is relatively basic, assuming there must have been a begining because we exist, and must have an end because of the nature of reality. I think its something we should observe on the surface of another mass..

You can also predict the effects of speed on time using Einstein's general relativity.
Our PERCEPTION of the passage of time is a different matter.

You just tried to explain time by saying it is measuring time. You didn't even explain what time is.

Time is the measurement of universal evolution. Evolution never stops, and therefore I believe time is real, although I do think the idea of time is much more than just arbitrary numbers.
Well, isn't the thought that time is "the measurement of universal evolution" an idea of time so wouldn't that make it unreal?

How so? The evolution does happen just as much as our perception happens, so I guess it just depends on if you consider your perception real.

look out in front of u it is ur futuretime, look to the back its is ur pasttime.. time is all around u use it wisely.. time is like space
Kind of, except space is three dimensional, time is linear.
