As a puppy owner man that is sad as fuck. I hope he rests peacefully in doggy heaven. May god bless him with beautiful bud as far as eyes can see.

That's awful!!!! Post that you will give a reward. Try the SPCA or Pound. And post pictures in your area. Put an add in the (new's paper)! That's what I would do.

NO little friend left behind!

aw man bro what happened?

I live in the country and some field next to my house started to plant new trees. Well I think he ate the poison they put for the rats or whatever they are called so they won't eat the roots. I found him dying laying on the side of a tree he tried to make it home is my best guess but only made it half way l. He died in my arms :'(.

That's really rough and it'll be a memory you won't forget. I'm sorry you had to experience your best friend dying in your arms. :(

He'll look down at you from puppy heaven chewing on a bone thinking of you always. Dogs are a lifelong companion, not only in physical form but also in spiritual.

He knew you loved him very much, and he will never forget it. I'm actually tearing up quite bit. Puppies and dogs dying make me sad as well.

Losing a pet is hard man... just remember he's up there looking down at you wagging his tail.

Sorry to hear that man. I had to put my dog down two days ago. Worst day of my life...been my best bud for the past 6 years.

The last verse of this poem gives me some comfort, because it's the truth of their lives.

"Treat me kindly, my beloved master, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me.

Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I should lick your hand between the blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me do.

Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footstep falls upon my waiting ear.

When it is cold and wet, please take me inside... for I am now a domesticated animal, no longer used to bitter elements... and I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth... though had you no home, I would rather follow you through ice and snow than rest upon the softest pillow in the warmest home in all the land... for you are my god... and I am your devoted worshiper.

Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for although I should not reproach you were it dry, I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food, that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side, and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life, should your life be in danger.

And, beloved master, should the Great Master see fit to deprive me of my health or sight, do not turn me away from you. Rather hold me gently in your arms as skilled hands grant me the merciful boon of eternal rest...and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I drew, my fate was ever safest in your hands.

RIP Mooky.

We lost our puppy to oleander poisoning this last month. It was heartbreaking.

We got a new puppy, and on my birthday it woke up paralyzed, apparently due to some side effect of getting a rabies, distemper, parvo shot.

Just a devastating time for our family.
