DXM- Long Term Effects I Have Encountered

I can tell you why you get more muscular. When you are coming back into your body, you cannot feel anything really. Your body tenses up a bunch, kind of like really slow convulsions. It's like lifting weights. You start doing the ROBO movements all tense like and it wears out your muscles.

me and neg both were DXM junkies back in the day but we havent done it for a couple years now

back then it drastically altered my mind.. i was basically crazy, i had this criminal thug mentality where i had thoughts of homicide, and just wanting to commit crimes that would benefit me. also i used to get these mental shocks, there real hard to explain, but whenever i would turn or something i would get this sudden rush that felt like getting shocked and i would feel like i was gonna collapse and passout, but it would only last a split second. also back then whenever i would do the tiniest little things my heart would just start pounding super hard, like sitting down, standing up, sitting up, laying back. also my breathing was irregular like i couldnt inhale or exhale smoothly, it would be jerky like if i was shaking.

even to this day 3 years later my heart still pounds and i run out of breathe from small amounts of physical exertion.. dxm really fucked up my lungs and heart, and me smoking like 2 packs of cigs a day isnt helping either, along with my sedentary lifestyle.

as far as mental problems 3 years later i'm no longer crazy, but like neg i dont feel emotion really, i get angry at times, but thats the only emotion that i truly feel, as far as depression or anxiety or whatever, i dont feel those things, its really strange, like i do feel them sort of, like the way your chest and shit feels when you experience sadness or anxiety, but my mind isnt affected by it much at all

Im truly sorry to hear what you just said. I have done dxm before but only 4 times and thats all you really should subject you liver too. I really hope people dont take me for an ass but what you have done to your body is a terrible tradgey. Marijuana is one thing but when hard drugs (and yes dxm is a hard drug) are somthing you want to start doing you better be careful. You really should have researched dxm before you decided to have 300 trips which most seem to be over 1000 mg, because when you get old you are seriously going to regret all the "fun times". If I was you and if you did what you say you did, I would go get my liver checked out. Have you ever had someone close to you die due to them being an alchaolic? My uncle suffered for 2 years and ill never take any drug that I encounter or take as serious as I do booze or DXM. DXM is only worse than booze when it comes to you liver.

As far as some of the effects i feel after i have taken it a few times are just that whenever i get near a robitussin bottle, or the gell caps....i throw up...eh, the pills cant even be in my sight or i start to gag...i dont know why tho.....

Same with me, Ive tripped on DXM probably around 30 times. I cant even stand to swallow the gel caps anymore, if I smell robitussin I will throw up.

I have mine somewhere but after bout 30 trips

Fuckin shaking all the time .

very slightly..most people cant notice but like i permanently feel STIFF

like when i get uncomfortable or like an awkward moment

(and i dont mean dramatic situation just any typical weird or uneasy situation)

i get super stiff and start to feel it in my spinal cord tighten up and get really stiff so i move weird

basically any time i have a high heart rate from natural things i get stiff and tighten up.

its annoying as shit .

also the involuntary flexing on the muscle

my neck starts to throb back and fourth very very slightly...sometimes my forearms back muscles but usually the neck

usually happens about twice a day...

its really noticable to someone else (nobody ever noticed it) and i barley notice it but i know its there and i know thats what its from

So far this thread provides the city with some valuable information. It's hard to find this stuff as there is little knowledge known about the long term effects of DXM.

Any other users out there that care to chime in?

To the guy who tripped about 30 times, how long after your last trip did you notice those things occurring? Did you stop tripping?

didnt notice those things during the trip just after

the two main thing and this "will" happen... i have read up on it a little but just to confirm

whenever my friend went to go piss like say u whip it out...and naturally you just start pissin...well it would take him like 10 seconds of just sitting there (lets be mature bout this guys)then he would start pissin

and the more he kept trippin the longer he would have to wait and it got to the point where we were at the crib outside and he went to piss and the ***** is posted up on the fence for like 2 mins waiting

and then when that first happened to me (had to wait like 5 seconds) i was like aight no more dxm definitely not a coincidence (happened to two others)

Also we became so used to tussin after doin it about every night all summer people wouldnt even notice when we were on it unless we said "im trippin" cause we just couldnt help but muttering it when we were trippin

and then my friend haley who is in nursing school or whatever started tellin me about how it eats away at the lining of your stomach and you will start to feel it

and it wasnt a placebo because i was barley even paying attention to her , much less caring what she was saying

but then the next trip i started to feel what i can only describe as a

ring around my stomach

didnt hurt or anything but it just felt like i swallowed a giant ring and it was sitting at the bottom of my stomach

and repeat...no more dxm...

so thats when i stopped for the most part...(end of julyish 2008)

and since then i have done it 3 times from july till now .

My opinion is you got to make sure it is only DXM you are using. Mixing drugs will make DXM much more intense and the other drug will also be much more intense. PerezPurpp used Robitussin Cough and Cold. It has Pseudophrine in it and very bad mixed with DXM. CCC's are the worst for you and other things with Acetaminophen (tylenol) will really hurt your liver.

yeah ... i was aware but i didnt really care too much

we just tried out different kinds (orange tuss , nyquil , desylum(?))

and we preferred the cough and cold cause it had 15 ml and it came in long acting which extended the trip like a mothafucka

i was well aware of what i was gettin into though and dont regret it .

but as far as advice for others i completely get what your sayin

well damn. I'm not gonna lie or anything, but, I just tripped out on DXM not too long ago, and Perez knows that. But that trip was awesome and all but this thread (after reading all of it) is starting to scare me... I might not do that shit (Might stick to weed) too much, or even ever again. That Delsym fucked me up though.
