good vs bad trip

I've never had a "bad trip," though I've had my share of scary or uncomfortable moments while tripping.

The worst experience I've had was on 2.5 grams of mushrooms. I was kind of sick that night, but decided shrooms were a fine idea. Everything was going great until we decided to go for a little moonlit skinny dipping (one of the best experiences of my life). After we got out, it was really cold, so we turned to heat way up. At that point my fever returned and while peaking, I had no idea why it was so intensly hot. So for the next two hours I sat in my boxers on my friend's patio, trying to read my favorite book in the dark to calm me down. I couldn't real because the words were jumping around and it was so dark out (2am).

So I guess about half of that trip could be considered "bad," but really I learned a lot about myself sitting alone feeling shitty that night, so maybe it was actually a good one.

i dont believe in bad trips. everythings all in your head. if you start gettin scared or whatever, change the music, or turn on/off a light. youll be surprised. also, remember its only a matter of time before you are sober again.

I used to love trippin on shrooms but that soon came to an end.
Ever since I had a bad trip on some, im scared to do them again.
When ever I think back on that day or just think about shrooms even, i freak out a little.

My only "bad" trip was at the end of shroom trip, 4.5 grams of some intense cubes. We were watching tv which was a bad idea, because somehow I got stuck within my mind on a strange continuous thought loop that was pretty long and complex. But it would play at different speeds and I couldnt controll it in any way. Its hard to remember that well, but it was like the tv images and commercials became some weird fucked up thoughts that I was stuck in for close to 2 hours. Craziest thing that has happened to me on shrooms to this day, pretty much ego loss but a little different. I think bad trips can come when you dont expect it, but they do exist. If someone gains too much confidence they are likely to have a bad trip, but bad is just a word, and a trip is a trip, and in the end youll come out of anything and probably just learn from the intense experience.

I had a bad trip once off 4 grams of cubensis. To quote Hunter S. Thompson, it was like an introspective nightmare, four hours or so of catatonic dispair. Shrooms will do this to you if you get in the habit of thinking negative thoughts on them. You must keep a positive attitude, and always remember that the shrooms are just fucking with you. Acid has been a different, more pleasant experience for me. Shrooms are easy to have a bad trip on because a part of the regular trip is nausea, this doesn't happen on LSD, so it's easier to keep a positive mindset.

I disagree; I had a bad trip. And I knew it was a bad trip the moment it turned bad.

Which is what made it all the worse.

i had a bad ass tripp on acid one time .. i was so excited to get and try it for the first time.. everything went according to plan and i had the most fun ever!!! i had great visuals and had the best body feeling ever.. felt like i had smoked the best bud of my life..listing to TOOL just set the mood ppl..

A good trip for me would be not careing about what's happening every where else in the world for a couple hours and just being in my own mind. Being one with mother nature and soaking in all she has to offer in the realm of "Peace of mind" if you will. Another attribute of a good trip would be MJ pulling out the good feelings inside you and amplifying them turning you into a smiling laughing person. Or simple sparking your imagination or opening a window into you brain.

A bad trip. When all the things that bother or trouble you are brought to your attention and you have to dwell on these thoughts which make you unhappy or depressed.

But when it comes down to it it is completley up to you the kind of trip you have...your state of mind is directly brought out and thats what decides the kind of trip you have. That's the way i see it.

I have only tripped twice. The first was definitely bad.
I thought I was at this train station place and there were other people and they had on shirts and some were the same and some were different, kinda like a puzzle where people wear certain shirts that match and when they join togther it looks like letters from far above. Anyway, I could have sworn I was on the ground (my sitters said I never was) and I wanted to leave, but if I did I would mess up everything. I thought I got up and everything was tilted sideways and my sitters said I sounded really weird. One of the siitters said I asked him if he was "a part" (I guess meaning if he was in on it) and if we were alone. I thought that my real life had just been a dream and I was stuck there. It was this feeling of complete lonliness and depression. He said my sister was there and I grabbed her jacket and was asking her if she was my sister and I asked where we lived and I was scared as hell. I was grabbing on the other sitter and begging him to help me. It was bizarre.

Theworst trip i have ever expierienced was with salvia. I had no clue what happened, they said I blacked out and fell to the left and started drooling and I couldn't move my jaw. I was freaking out because it sseriously felt like i had been chopped in half and was getting sucked into hell. tuesday night I tripped fucking hard but wasn't scared or paranoid just fucked up real bad, I kept telling my friends i was possessed and i wasn't the same person anymore.
