Okay, so WTF is wrong with people who cut themselves... I have a friend.."J" who is i guess having alot of problems he says and so he walks around all pissed n shit sayin he is gunna buy a half g of sum shiit.. "Meth" To another one of my best friends who put it on his life never again. So any way my friend "Jo" is with a girl that J likes but he lies and says he dosnt but makes it really apparant that he dose and agian he walks around all pissed breakin his phone a bunch of attention grabing shit everyone is getting a little angry with it because he is acting real stupid talkin about how mad he is how much he wants sum shiit blah blah blah and he goes and cuts himself!!! in front of the girl and everyone else on PURPOSE!! Third day of the same shit he is mad because he is lonley and dont got a girl so he tells "D" that "JO" "JOR" and "A" are all playin all the girls and they dont care about them.. so "d" tells "JOR" and "A" and they are all screamin about to scrap and all drama and he J cuts himself again and more attention shit... Long read hope it made sense i just want to know wat you people think and some insight on why people cut themselves and it releives pain is a bullshit reason its to get fuckin attention from everyone around you because you dont feel fuckin loved |

He's an attention whore... He probably is depressed and maybe he feels like he's not important enough in your group and just wants more attention.. This doesn't mean he's not possibly suicidal, as meth easily makes people suicidal, so I say just be as best of friend as you can and if that's not enough for him ask him straight up what's goin on with him and if he wants to talk about it...

This isn't the case with people who actually cut themselves seriously. He more than likely did this for attention, yes. I went to school with a kid in jr high that cut his ex-gfs (she dumped him) name in his arm and then showed it off at school the next day and had a mental breakdown of sorts. Most people who cut do it in a place where it can be easily covered so that other people don't see it. It's a coping mechanism (unhealthy of course) and some people do it because they're just so overwhelmed, and some people because they are numb to everything and it makes them actually feel something. I used cut myself, for like 6 years, nobody knew. I've seeked out help lately, not expressly for this-just depression in general. If you have any more questions I'd be glad to help you understand better, but ultimately you will probably not get it fully unless you've been there.
