Getting caught up with pills

So my friend/dealer just got caught with 30 ecstasy pills at school. He's only 17.

What do you think will happen to him?

That really depends on what kind of pills.

What state are you in? He may be charged as an adult. And again it depends on what state but he could be in serious shit.

On school grounds? That's possession with intent to distribute on school grounds. That's like a Class C felony; he's in some serious shit, he better get a good criminal attorney quick.

He's underage so if he's lucky he can get off with diversion. Probably some classes and community service, maybe some fines.

If it's his first offense, and considering he's underage, he probably has a good chance of getting let off easy. Of course he will get expelled, but as for the law he will probably only get probation/classes.

happened to me back in da day only i had 3 blue dolphins an waz 16 it waz a 3rd degree felony distributing is a 2nd degree if he hasnt had trouble before the charges may get withdrawn an he might get community service an probation but you need a good lawyer

Being underage will most likely save him. It saved me when I got caught with weed at 16 at school in Texas. I got probation for 6 months and the choice of "rehab" or some ridiculous amount of time served. I chose rehab.

That's no good. I know of a person on my college campus who got caught with 30 adderal and they were planning on charging him with felony possession for each single pill.

Since he's under 18, his best bet is to hope they go easy on him with the charges. He needs a lawyer NOW.

Don't wanna scare you but isn't extacsy a higher class drug than weed or adderal? hopefully your friend gets off alright being under 17, but 30 is a lot of pills to get caught with.

Damn bro that sucks for your friend. I got caught with 3 percocets when I was 14 in 8th grade. I got suspended for 10 days and had to go to some ASAP shit. They said if I didn't finish the classes I would be expelled and charged, I dropped out after 2 weeks and shit didn't happen so maybe he will get off easy but not sure since it's ecstasy.. Good vibes towards you friend.
