Just because you use other drugs doesn't mean you're stupid. You're only stupid when you let the drugs control you. I've tried Cocaine a few times, and Heroin too. I would say those are the most addicting drugs I've tried so far. Now, out of the few times I have tried Coke, they've all been spaced out, and I never got addicted to either drug. It helps that I don't have an addictive personality, but I also can control my usage.

It just takes a little willpower sir.

Yo Bliss, I just saw this and i want to give you major props for making that first step towards recovery. Telling the rents was damn hard i am sure, but i hope they can provide you the support you need right now. I wish you luck on the road to complete recovery and i will be sending some positive feelings your way. Stay strong!
P.S. This being my first post i would like to give everyone a big howdy from the south.
P.S.S I hope this makes sense and is at least a little coherent, writing this was a lot like sending my fingers on an epic quest.

my parents know damn well ive been using, my little brother walked in on me shooting up and told them, they were mad as fuck. but im 22, so they cant really do shit about it.. good luck kickin it, its hard... i know.

get yourself into a methadone maintenance program so you dont get the urges to do heroin. and try not to dwell on past using.. i cant help it, i still use the shit once a week. and i still bang it.

WindowPanes had something good to say the other day in the Opiate thread.

He said that the addiction is 90% mental. And it is. After the withdrawals are over, you just need to find strength within yourself. Keep your mind busy and focus on what you need to accomplish to better yourself; try your best to not think of it and don't be depressed because you can't get/use it. You make your own happiness, and you have since the day you were born.

I hope this doesn't sound hypocritical coming from me, because you know I'm still struggling with my addiction. It's just, I guess one isn't ready to completely quit until one is truly ready, but at least I have things figured out and I know I'll make it when I am ready. Who knows what will happen during the next few weeks, but I'm nine and a half days clean as of right now, and I'm staying busy and trying to not let myself dwell on it.. It's hard, but anyone can make it if they have enough reason and enough courage.

Are you over 18? If so then they can't make you goto Rehab.

No matter what wither you over 18 or under 18, tell them your going to stay clean. If you were brave enough to admit your heroin use to your parents, they then they have to trust you more than they did before.

Just switch to hydrocodone and soma (in moderation). Feels just as good as heroin IMO (without the rush) and isn't as addictive. Don't do it a lot though.
