i was lying so much to them that i couldnt even remember wat was true or not, it was fucking with my head because they were suspicious and it just got overwhelming, when my friend was caught his parents forced him to go to rehab or they would kick him out, and it made me jealous because i wanted to get it all out in the open, im too good of a liar that i start to convince myself them what im saying is true. it was making my lose myself, plus i didnt want to go schitzophrenic

FYI..she has been clean for two weeks..so she doesn't have to quit it like that, she just has to work on cravings

Damn, i'm really sorry to hear that. It was heartbreaking when my parents found out too. Except they found out the heard way, at least you built up enough courage to be honest with your parents. I wish nothing but the best for you bliss and I hope you stay strong. Good luck with everything!

I managed to hide my coke addiction from my parents while I had the habit, fortunately I broke it on my own.

Good job, Bliss. I am prouder now than I ever have been of you. What you did took alot of courage and definitely takes a very big person to admit their faults and mistakes. I really am so happy for you and now you have a chance to turn your entire life around!

You do realize that taking a serious attempt at rehab would include isolating yourself from any personal relationships for a given timeframe right?
If you start to "customize" the rules tailor made to your situation it won't be recovery.
