you can do this! a friend of mine recently got clean after shooting 80's daily and sucking on fentanyl gel. he actually OD'd before he admitted he had a problem. sounds like you've got a head on your shoulders for sure. i'm sure it wasn't easy to share with your parents but it was probably the right thing to do. good luck!

I don't think I could ever tell my parents something like that, I would just get clean without them knowing. But good luck to you, im sure it took a lot of courage to tell them about it. I would imagine that weed would help the withdrawals at least a little bit?

I think I can speak for all of GC when I say that you're really brave for telling your parents. As hard as this day was though, harder days are on the horizon. Just remember, us blades are always here if you need someone to chat with. Good luck with your recovery

if you go to rehab they are gonna want you to change your whole life. people places & things. I have been twice and its not a bad place. You get to learn a lot about yourself and take a break from the drugs which clears up your head. I went once because I was forced by my mom when I was 16 and the other time I went about 3 years ago because I violated my probation and my lawyer said to go to avoid jail. My point is if you go be serious and get as much out of it as you can. I am a different person today because of rehab and I am thankful for that. Up with Hope Down with Dope Best of luck

Sounds like you have the willpower to do it if you have already been able to admit it to your parents. That takes real courage. Hang in there and keep looking ahead. Keep reminding yourself why your trying to get clean and how bad life was on the other side. From what I've seen of your posts you seem like a very friendly and helpful person, I know you can make it through these dark hours, just remember on the other side is a much better life.
