Tussionex Shelf Life

Or of hydrocodone in general?

I found an old bottle of the stuff from January 2008 when I got prescribed legitimately for a cough, and took some of what was my usual hydrocodone fun dose.

I'm barely feeling anything right now though.

Does Tussionex degrade over time, and if so do any of you have any idea to what extent?

Re: Tussionex Shelf Life

if stored properly in an airtight container at or below 25 degrees c oxycodone should have a shelflife of three years.

idk if its the same for hydrocodone but it should probably be around 3-4 years since they are both opiates

Re: Tussionex Shelf Life

my friend whos an actualy pharmacist for CVS told me that alot of meds are no good 6months-1year after the expiration date. since tussionex is a liquid form of hydrocodone, my guess is it has degraded alot since expiration date.
