And, with my experience on benzos I would say I like clonazepams(klonopins), way more then alprazolam(xanax). The come down is alot nicer, depending on what your useing them for actually, and the high is nicer off them, now if you don't plan to get high off them, I would still suggest them, because the comedown is alot more easy.

Yeah, that's my reasoning in favor of klonopins. I've taken them before and they seem to work the best in controlling my anxiety and generally making me feel great.

You're going to have a cross tolerance to all other benzodiazepines if your tolerance is already high from alprazolam. It's inevitable. That being said, you might enjoy the long-acting action that klonopin brings. I prefer it (because I'm and addict and I abuse xanax but for some reason not klonopin) as it keeps my anxiety in check throughout the entire day. Much longer half-life.

Just an opinion.

EDIT: and yes I am too back on lexapro and pissing out my ass has returned. Not a good side effect. Imodium is a great thing for the big D if you can get a prescription.

hah i'm glad it wasn't just me that got really bad guts from escitalopram (i was on cipralex but they're chemically the same as lexapro)! my doctor switched me over to citalopram 20's and that pretty much went. i do sometimes struggle sleeping on the citalopram though so i have zolpidem prescribed too.
if you're having a bad time on lexapro it might be worth seeing if your doc will switch you too.

Yes I spent three days with out sleeping because of the lexapro. I'm also prescribed ambien but even 30 mgs of that plus some seroquel wouldn't put me to sleep. Finally I said fuck it, smoked some weed and took some clonazepam; worked like a charm.
