Hey blades, you might of seen me from my previous thread (Apprentice Tokers' Guide to Laced Cannabis), well I'm writing this information thread to help remove the pointless threads asking for help information and wondering if they should take it, etc. and as well to point out the hard work our fellow blades have created to help this community. Let's all keep in mind, You should always be prepared, ready and confident with your mindset and environment before consuming any type of drugs. Hallucinogenic Drugs: LSD: LSD is the best known and most researched psychedelic. It is the standard against which all other psychedelics are compared. It is active at extremely low doses and is most commonly available on blotter or in liquid form. Psilocybin Mushrooms: ![]() There are more than 180 species of mushrooms which contain the psychedelics psilocybin or psilocin. They have a long history of use in Mexico and are currently one of the most popular and commonly available natural psychedelics. DMT: ![]() DMT is a powerful, visual psychedelic which produces short-acting effects when smoked. It is used orally in combination with an MAOI, as in ayahuasca brews. It is naturally produced in the human brain and by many plants. PCP (Phencyclidine): ![]() PCP is a powerful psychedelic known for its dissociative effects at higher doses. It is best known for stories of the strange and sometimes violent behavior of people under its influence. Ketamine: ![]() Ketamine is a dissociative psychedelic used medically as a veterinary and human anaesthetic. It is one of the few addictive psychedelics and is associated with researcher John Lilly. It gained some popularity in Europe and the U.S. (2001-2005) though it has only a short history of human use. Mescaline: ![]() Mescaline is a naturally occurring psychedelic with a long history of human use. It is best known as the primary active chemical in the peyote cactus. Salvia Divinorum: ![]() Salvia divinorum is a sprawling perennial herb found in the Sierra Mazatec region of Mexico. It's leaves contain the extremely potent Salvinorin A. It has a history of buccal use as a divinatory psychedelic, and has been widely available since the mid 1990s primarily as a smoked herb. Its effects are considered unpleasant by many people. Stimulants: Amphentimines: ![]() Amphetamine is a strong physical and mental stimulant available widely in both prescription and street forms. It is the standard against which all other stimulants are measured. MDMA: ![]() MDMA is one of the most popular recreational psychoactives, most commonly sold in the form of "ecstasy" tablets. Hydromorphone: ![]() Hydromorphone is an opiate, narcotic analgesic, used primarily in the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is one of two derivatives of morphine, the other being oxycodone. Oxymorphone: ![]() Oxymorphone, a semisynthetic opioid analgesic 10 times more potent than morphine, is used in the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is sometimes used as an adjunct to anesthesia. Codeine: ![]() Codeine is an opiate used in the treatment of pain and to reduce coughing. Carisoprodol is not an Opiate (It's Indirect Skeletal Muscle Relaxant; Sedative) but can give Opiate like feelings Carisoprodol/Soma: ![]() Carisoprodol is a prescription muscle relaxant which was approved by the FDA in 1959. Inhalants: Nitrous Oxide: ![]() Nitrous Oxide is an anaesthetic gas best known for its use in dentistry and as a whipped cream propellant. It is widely available and its effects are short lasting. //CAUTION// Nitrous Oxide is not the same as Nitric Oxide. Nitric Oxide is a poisonous gas. This class includes alprazolam (Xanax), diazepam (Valium), clonazepam (Klonopin) and others. Unless I am mistaken , DXM, PCP, and Ketamine are not psychedelics.
