my fault. i knew ketamine and pcp were dissociatives but i thought dxm was a psychedelic. but i was also under the impression of dissociatives being considered psychedelics. guess i was wrong! i trust what codone has to say though.

Well there dissociative anesthetics that causes hallucinations. Therefore, it can be classified as a hallucinogen, just to not add another category.

They can be classified as a hallucinogenic drugs, I've seen it sometimes classified it one as a psychedelic from VT. But, I shall rename the category to Hallucinogenic Drugs. Thanks for the reminder guys.

Does PCP cause hallucinations? I was under the impression it didn't, but then I have never tried it...

Biologically, PCP, ketamine, and DXM are all dissociatives, as well as psychedelics. So you were correct, Doblaze.

Nice post. I don't know for fact but I just like to classify LSD, Shrooms, DMT, Salvia, etc as Psychedelics and PCP and all of the other stuff as Hallucinogens. I believe that Psychedelics are safer and more eye opening/enlightening. I also read that you don't even hallucinate, you just see beyond what's normally there. On the other hand I look at Hallucinogens such as PCP more damaging...pretty much the opposite. Again, this is just my opinion.
