Zolpidem (Ambien)

So I just got prescribed 30 10mg pills of Zolpidem for insomnia. I haven't picked them up yet, I post pics once I do. I was hoping for some benzos like xanax, klonopin, etc. I have no experience with this substance. How do they compare with benzos, and are they any good?

I checked out erowid, it sounds like it makes you trip out. I'm just looking for peoples opinions about it. He wanted to give me an ssri. I said "fuck that, give me some xanax"

We settled for ambien.

I can hardly wait, if it's better than xanax.

Its not better then xanax, they are totally different drugs

I didn't think that they were the same, I've never tripped off of benzos before. It's probably like trying to compare meth to coke. Two different things. I'm just asking more for preference.

I'm picking them up tomorrow, I can hardly wait. I love trying new drugs, and it's even better when they're legal.

It must be decent if eminem was hooked on them.

u dont trip of benzos, u get faded off benzos. Also ambien really sucks recreationally, if u take enough yea you do trip out, but its just a dumb trip, very spooky and wierd, not all that enjoyable in my opinion. maybe use as recomended and prescribed.

On one of my favorite ambien uses I took twenty milligrams. I was staggering, slurring, I put my pants on backwards without noticing it (they were sweats, makes it a little better) and I was talking to myself in the mirror. I also had closed eye visuals. Ironically I could't fall asleep because whenever I closed my eyes I saw those weird elephants from Whinny the Pooh.

ambien is a strange drug. it feels like a benzo bodywise but its also distinctly trippy. and it also erases your memory and does other strange things. its fun but just.... strange..

its an alright drug to trip out on but you really have to fight to stay awake lol. Don't take more then 20mg though or you might black out.

god i have so much fun on ambien lol

ok, for the first week or two you will just be straight up getting knocked the fuck out by ambien, you will take it and then feel trippy for a few mins and just pass out

after this phase, you will actually build a tolerance to the sedative effect but not to the tripping effect and taking ambien will literally turn you into a fucking zombie. you will have no recollection of what you did, you wont function correctly, its a ton of fun

gl & hf, and look up vinny todd buttafuoco or leatherrebeljustice on youtube, he knows his shit on ambien lol

Well my number 1 priority is getting a good nights sleep, because I have horrible insomnia. So I am going to be using them as prescribed, but it's always a bonus if they'll get me fucked up

I dont find it hard to stay awake at all. Eventually yeah, but its not always as hard as people make it seem.

Yeah, it warns you about sleep driving and sleep eating which is pretty fucked up.

Take 20mg then stay awake for 2 hours. Stare at stuff. If you have that cottage cheese looking ceiling, stare at it and it will start moving.
