Xanax Withdrawls Horrible!!

i was using them for the last 3 weeks and when i stopped i started going throught worse withdrawls than i did off dope, like i almost wanted to kill myself at one point thats how bad it was, slept for 1 hour over 2 nights, crazy shit but its good now cause ive been off them for over 4 days now and im feeling much better.

FYI i was doing over 2mg a day everyday for about 3 weeks, i never wanna do those things again after what i went through. at least for dope u have suboxin(sp?) which is a great medicine when ur jones'ing off it.

lesson of the story: dont do benzo's for more than 3-5 days in a row, unless u wanna go through hell.

i won't prolong use for sure though that sounds shitty

Yes...benzo withdrawls suck ass.

I got a bunch of xanax in India last year, and was very careful about taking them (at least I thought I was, anyway). I only took them 1-2x a week, for maybe 3 months.

I felt like shit for almost a month once they were gone. That's what's so shitty about the withdrawals... they can just go on and on. People who take bezos for years report withdrawal symptoms up to a year after they stop.

yeah, I'm getting near the end of my supply, just enough left I could ween off if I needed- but I have a refill and reup coming next week, just in time- and usually way more than 2mg/day, more like 6-12

lol dont even act like you know about xanax withdrawals(OP), try taking 4-20mg a day for MONTHS at a time, seriously 3+ months straight popping between 2 to 10 bars a day, usually 4-5 average, and at the same time i was taking 3 .5 klonopins a day(i get prescribed 90 a month). I stopped cold turkey and trust me, you want to put a pistol to your head. cold sweats, the worst anxiety of your life, you can't sleep/eat, you'll be cold one second hot the next, etc.

im a horrible preacher though because im on 6 bars right now and 3 beers haha, and i still take klonopins and bars pretty much daily -- trust me though dont fuck with benzos theyre not worth it.

STFU tellin me that i kno nothing about xanax withdrawls it was 2x worse than withdrawling from a bundle a day dope habit while i was in jail. it was a blessing since now that set me str8 from that shit, its such a shitty "high" anyways, if i should even call it a "high" more like something to knock u out and go to sleep lol...

dope is def. alot better high than this shit anyways. that really ticked me off u sayin that i kno nothing about benzo withdrawls when i almost ripped my fucken hair out of my head when i tried to fall asleep.

I was taking them daily for probably 7+ months. Got up to 4-8mgs/day in the couple months before I quit.

I was up for 5 fucking days straight with only very short naps. Got maybe 2 hours of sleep total in 120 hours. I felt like I was sleep walking, it was trippy as fuck. Not in a good way though.
Muscle twitches like crazy. Sitting on the porch in the freezing cold was the only thing that felt alright because the shivering made me forget about how bad my muscles were twitching. I couldn't have stood still if someone paid me a million dollars to do it.

Ugh. That was probably the worst week and half of my life thus far... but after that everything was much, much better.

I remember overdosing on oxycontin.... that was such a horrible 3 days. Withdraw is bad, from anything.

I like Ativans. It just calms me down and makes me feel better when I'm having a particularly bad day.

dude sorry you had to go through a dope withdrawal, but i'm saying i've gone through full blown xanax withdrawals, i've came SO close to having a seizure so many times while withdrawing, just read my post, you barely took them at all, I took like 6 times your dosage for like 8 times longer no joke, so trust me i know about withdrawals.

Just curious; how could you tell you were almost having a seizure?

I was worried about it all through my withdrawals but I had no idea how to tell if I was close to having one or anything like that.

i'm gonna have to go through that sometime soon, it's not easy i've gone through it before but relapsed, and i'll probably relapse again but i'm currently taking about 14mg a day for the past week or so, at least 4mg a day during the days i'm not taking that much. glad you got through it though, i remember when i was withdrawing you just couldn't sleep, even when you smoked weed RIGHT before you were about to fall asleep a muscle would spaz out and you'd wake up due to it.

For sure, man. I remember I fell asleep one night for about 3 hours when all of a sudden my legs started twitching uncontrollably and I couldn't stay still long enough to fall asleep. Every time I tried my body got way overheated, too.
That was the start of my being up for 120 hours.

How far did you go before you relapsed? Once I got into my 4th or 5th day, I couldn't even fathom accepting a benzo if offered. Especially because of things I'd read about it totally restarting the withdrawal process or prolonging it or whatever...

You just gotta find that point where you're like "no turning back now!"

Some serious shit. Benzos were never really enjoyable to me, but I did go through a Oxy addiction a few years back so I am not completely oblivious to withdrawals. From what I've heard though, benzo withdrawal is fucked up.
