Focalin XR, like ritalin.

Ok just wanted to share my experience with other city members. This is the drug i did other than pot. Focalin XR is an off brand of ritalin. XR is Extended Relief. Stay away from all XR's cus they keep hitting you over and over. Well the focalin sucked. High heart beat, horrible crash, inability to sleep. I felt like shit during the high and after. Stay away from focalin and all other XR's.

Well, everybody reacts differently to different drugs. Also, you can't really base your opinion on XRs(it means Extended Release by the way) off of Focalin. One, it's not near as strong as Adderall, and two it's totally different.

Focalin contains dexmethylphenidate, an isomer of Methylphenidate(which is what is in Ritalin.)

Adderalls (XRs as well) contain a mixture of completely different and more potent amphetamine salts: dextroamphetamine and DL-amphetamine salts.


So you really can't say fuck all XRs, as Adderall XR is pretty damn powerful. Really the extended release does not mean it is less powerful than instant release at all, there is just a method of your brain receiving the amphetamines at a rate where it lasts longer in your blood stream.
