Adderall Question

I've never taken Adderall or any sort of speed/upper before. I took 40mg of generic Adderall crushed and swallowed about 2 hours ago. Felt euphoric for a little while, increased heart rate, some increase of focus. About 10 minutes ago I yawned and started to feel tired. My heart and mind are slowing down.

I was planning to be up all night, should I take more? I feel like I could fall asleep pretty soon.

Also, I'm eating a huge bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios and they are wonderful. I was told I wouldn't be hungry on addies. My stomach was pretty raw, but now it feels better to eat cheerios.

I feel like I'm coming down already, could that be?

You may just need more than the average person to feel the effects of 40mg.
Was the pill a tablet or capsule?
Tablet and you have instant release adderall, capsule and you XR (extended release) adderall.
The instant will last 2-4 hours, while the XR last 8-10 hours.<--- personal experience.
If its 2 hours after you at the pills then you will be hungry.<----'

It's an instant release, generic tablet. The XR is still patented by Adderall, so generic companies can't make it (at least, that's my understanding).

Maybe I'll parachute another 1 or 2 tablets. I just wanted to make sure because I noticed on here earlier someone took 60mg and people were saying that's a lot.

I could hardly feel anything in my first couple adderall highs. The first time I only took 30 mg, which gave me a speed feeling for maybe an hour. The second time I took 60 mg, which gave me a euphoria, but not much of one, and I stayed up all night... But the speed part didn't feel good... I was just wide awake. Then the other night I took 70 mg. A very nice feeling of euphoria. 60 mg of these were XR. I stayed up all night still feeling the euphoria into the wee hours of the morning after taking it at 9 PM.

But my point is, 60 mg doesn't seem like it even effected me hardly, but 70 mg did hit hard. But I would never have even felt much of anything on 40 mg. Try again, this time up the dose to 60 mg, I'd say.

hmm i dont like adderall much and find that i have to take a lot to stay up all night. maybe this is also the case with you.

Yeah, everything affects people differently. Personally, if I need to stay up all night I only need like 30-40mg, just taken at the right times (instant release and insulfated).
