Can you take half of an XR pill? capsule with tiny balls. (adderall/amphetamine)

I've got these 30mg Adderall XR capsules. the capsules are half transaprent, and easy enough to take apart. inside are about 100 tiny balls. So I have a couple questions. If there a way to prepare like a third, 10mg, to snort. and if i took another 5mg, would it work. Do i have to just take the whole pill to feel correct effects? I've never taken adderal or ritalin or anything like that before.

That will tell you everything you need to know. Basically, yeah, you can. You just have to crush those little beads up and either snort or swallow them. You probably wouldn't be able to get an exact measurement on how many mg's you're taking at a time, but you could eyeball it, and that would probably be good enough.

i have a really hard time crushing up those little balls- they fly everywhere and i loose like half of them...

i would just dump half of the capsule in my mouth if i were you..

Do you feel like you get more of the effects of an IR pill that way? From the brief reading I did before taking XR's, I thought you had to break up the balls to get rid of the time release. I could be completely off though, I wasn't too concerned with that part since I planned on taking them as is.

If you have neer done an amphetamine don't worry about not feeling the effects. One of those XR will probably have you boncing off the walls for 12 hrs. Do not take the XR if you plan to sleep within the next 14 hrs though, save it for when you wake up. So whenever you are ready to dose just take 30mg orally. I wouldn't snort adderall.

Well I crushed about 5mg worth, dumped in a glass of water, and drank. awful taste naturally. I'll let you know what happens.

and to those wondering how to crush them, it's simple. But w/e amount in a small plastic bag (walmart has 2x3 inch bags for 100 a dollar). Then use a metal spoon with your palm on it to put enough pressure on the balls inside the bag to crush them. It works great and doesn't risk losing any of the adderall or anything.

To crush the beads, place a dollar bill on top of them, then roll a heavy cylindrical object (such as a soup can) over the bill until they are crushed. Works like a charm.

Definitly update us on how you feel since I am getting a bottle of 30 of them for 30 bucks and have never tooken any amp before.

Damn, i just realized that i said 5mg. Meant 25, almost all of one 30mgXR capsule. So anyway, i didn't feel anything for about 15 minutes. And it started to kick in. Within another 15, i was in total euphoria. Just sinking my mind into whatever i was doing. I went on a bike ride. Going around 20mph, like twice what i normally would do. It was just so wonderful. I didn't feel tired or anything. Super-fast punk rock playing on the Ipod, i was just going insane headbanging to stuff. St. Jimmy, a green day song (yeah yeah, they suck/aren't punk). It was just so fast and crazy and perfect to just rock the fuck out to. All this while still biking. So once home again I decided to clean my room, since you can't even see the carpet. And i'm just in total focus mode. I get everything put in its place, dont' even notice the time flying by. I'm feeling so great and sucessful for every little thing I do. At around 4 Hours since I took the pill, I'm losing that feeling. Still more than normally focused or w/e i do, but the amazing feeling is certainly gone. At that point, just a slow slope down back to normal. No "crash" or antyhing. Felt fine afterwards. And Slept normally, dreams seemed rather vivid. Felt tired as hell today when I stopped talking or moving for a few minutes.

So overall a great experience. I can see how someone could start to depend of this, at a lower intensity, daily. So i'ma go ahead and not use adderall for a couple weeks. I highly reccomend this method to anyone who can control themself.
