I've tried snorting adderall but I feel like I may not be getting the full effects. You know when you're stuffed up and you snort and the mucus goes to your throat where you swallow it. I feel like the powder is getting stuck in my nose and then just making it's way there. Am I doing something wrong?

You're going to feel what's called a "drip" where you can feel the mucus/chemical in the back of your throat. The rare times that I insufflate I always try and get it as far up my nose as I can when I inhale, and then try not to "sniffle" if you know what I mean.

I feel like when I try inhaling too much through my nose right after snorting (usually because your nose is a little buggy and you need to sniffle a bit) that I end up just swallowing it through my nostril, however I haven't looked into that... I just play it safe and give it time to absorb so I know the "drip" feeling is supposed to be there and not just me ingesting the chemical through my nostril.

So it is normal? I thought I might not be getting all of it.

Edit: My dumbass just realized I should reach up into my nose to see if there's any powder up there and there was plenty. So I know not all of it is making it into my lungs.

You're not trying to snort it allllllll the way to your throat... you want to reach the back of your nostrils... basically directly behind your nose.

Yes you should expect the drip, but you have to make sure when you insufflate that the chemical reaches the back of your nostril into the mucus membrane... if you can see/touch that powder in your nostril you didn't get it.

I just use a cut up straw (mcdonalds ones are excellent because they are so wide) and make sure when I snort to have the straw in my nose enough that I can simply inhale through my nose with very little to no force... goes straight up there. Try not to tense your nostril because that can close the passage near the back where you want the chemical to be absorbed.

and again... try not to sniffle after snorting. Just make sure to get the substance to the mucus membrane and let it absorb... you will feel the drip and then you know you did it correctly. Adderall has a kind of plastic taste to it and doesn't bother me like other pharms that burn/taste terrible, but if you dislike the taste just pop some gum in your mouth and that should take care of that.

The only benefit I find from insufflation, though, is situational and that is that you come down fast allowing you to experience the Adderall without having fear of insomnia. I still recommend oral administration and if you're looking for a quick, more intense comeup with a high that won't linger throughout the night then simply crush the XR beads inside the capsule into powder and then ingest that with water (it doesn't taste of chemicals, moreso a plastic taste).

Only on a couple of lines did I find some to get stuck in my nose, usually it did what was apparently to. I thought the point was getting stuff into your lungs to be absorbed. I take it as prescribed for adhd(15mg XR every morning) and have been for years so if I just popped a bunch it wouldnt make much difference and snorting solves that. From about 7am yesterday to 4am today I popped 40mg and sniffed 170mg so you see what I mean that only insufflation is worth it.

last year in school i bought 27 5mg's that were "fast acting" or w.e for 20 bucks cuz my buddy actually lost his bottle once and found it and had no need for it

Hey, Ive always thought i had ADHD since i was about 6-7 but I was never into going to the docs and getting pills for me so heres my question

In febuary or so, i started buying 2 20 mg XR for a friday nights, did this about 3-4 times. Got very good 4 hour long lasting peaks, and euphoric for about 9 hours in total.

I then got narked on in march and ended up getting put on probation and enrolled in drug classes for 3-4 months so i had to stop taking them. I resumed in taking 60 mg at once 2 30 XR capsules, and i never hit my PEAK, it was just right below the peak and it just wouldnt come, so i took another, and it didnt do anything at all.

So i waited 1-2 months till i moved, picked up 8 30 XR's and took 2, same effects, a little euphoric but no peak! and every adderall user knows what the peak im talking about is.

I just think ive become prone to it, or i actually have adhd and it helps it a little or something.

But i just dont understand 90mg in 6 hours should atleast get me a good 30 minute peak, but it just doesnt.

I havent took adderall in 2-3 months now and dont plan on it untill i know for sure i can get a peak.
