Oh god, Adderall.

This might be pointless but ive got about 20 minutes to waste, so im gonna throw out an adderall overdose report.

Yes, I did it...overdosed on Adderall.
I didn't think it was very possible, but I guess someone can overdose on anything.

I was at a motel with a couple friends, kickin back, smoking a bowl and downing some beers.
My friend decided to bust out the xanax, so i took 2mgs (a bar) of that.

When that kicked in, he offered me some adderall. He was dealing it, so he said i can take as much as i wanted to.

I took 7, 30mg XRs in my hand and set them on the table.

I opened up every single one of them, and snorted them all. Yes, I know, it is terribly disscusting, but I was kinda fucked on Xanax, alchohol, weed, and vicodin already.

So nothing really happened for a few hours, besides some weird visuals. I couldnt really recognize my friends faces from 4 feet away.

We stayed up all that night, and the effects of the overdose didnt hit me until the next night, Most likely because they were extended release capsules.

I was sitting at a buddies house, and smoking a bowl. After I took 2 hits, i felt an extreme wave of nausea hit me. I went to the bathroom, and puked a huge load of blood.

I decided that it was the adderall that was making me do this. I puked more blood, then fell to my knees and had my first seizure. I looked at the toilet, to see little stars spinning on the whole toilet, and knew i was hallucinating from the adderall.

I have had experience with hallucinating, and know that if you are on the right drug, you can making yourself see whatever you put your mind to. So I decided to have the little steriotypical trip of seeing gnomes walk across the floor. and Yes, it worked. I saw about 5 little transparent gnomes walk across the floor. Mid-way through that experience, i had another seizure.

I decided I would be alright, and went outside to smoke another bowl.

Various parts of my body continually got numb. (chest, right arm, then left, then legs).
I figured this was a side affect.

So to wrap this up, I ended up not being able to sleep for 4 days, and had excessive paranoia, which was obviously from lack of sleep.

So yes, adderall is fun, and im not telling anyone to not do it.
What im telling you, is dont be a fucking retard like I was, and snort 210Mgs of adderall.

Hey, i took a 30 mg XR pill at about 6 eastern time today.. It is now about 10.. Still feel nothing.. Maybe a tiny change, but i've taken adderall before (same pill, same dose.. and even once 60mg), and I don't feel it. I took it with a Sobe Lifewater - Agave lemonade, which has citric acid in it.. i've heard citric acid can make adderall less effective, but was never sure... Do you think that can be the reason i'm not feeling anything? im about to take another 30 mg xr with water...

Okay I'm in the process of learning about Adderall but could anyone give me some advice here? I plan on doing Adderall once or twice per week to study my ass off, for probably like 4-6 hours each of these days.

How should I go about keeping a strong buzz/focus for 4-6 hours?
1 dose XR?
1 dose IR?
XR initially then IR periodically for a 'pick me up'?
Or just straight IR redosing throughout the 4-6 hours?
I'll do some trial and error but I wanna have an idea for where to start.

I usually get them when I am crashing hard. Adderall always gives me diarrhea! I usually take 50-80 mg. It seems pretty bad for the body.

I need to write a research paper over Thanksgiving and I was wondering, what's a good dose to take? I have to write like ten pages and I don't care if I have extra time because I can just read after that. I just don't want to bug out or have it last like 24 hours or some other long time. I'm also kind of small and have only taken a 30 mg xr once and it just kept me up because I took it at like 4. What do you think is a good amount?

eehhh i feel shitty, and i only coming down off 15mg. I usually feel so bad on the comedown I just wanna throw the rest of this stuff away lol...

hydrocodone works wonders though.

Great thread, but I have a question. I've had ADD for most of my life, and was dosing Ritalin from kindergarten-second grade. I've got the ADD under control now to where I don't need medication, but still definitely have the ADD. I'm 19 now, and have never taken adderall. Will it have the same effect on me as other people without ADD, or a different effect?

Damn, I took 75, 50 at 1 pm, then 25 at 5pm !! Oh well, with bud I can easily deal with the crash. I can also fall asleep eventually which is good.

if i were you, i would make than 30 mg xr, into ir. itll be more intense but for a shorter amount of time. that way u MIGHT be able to get some sleep that night.

For everyone: you WILL feel an intense craving the next day. Don't give into it, that's how addiction happens. Yeah, you want it bad, but just hold out and you'll be fine.

I took a 10mg XR and then a 20mg XR about an hour later. It takes a while to kick in, but you'll definitely realize it. You get that little rush (that happens more than once)...sometimes you can't stop moving. I was tapping my fingers like crazy. I looked around, and everything I saw was just crystal clear. All my thoughts were sharp as a knife. Like I actually imagined a knife slicing through a block of wood, and the picture in my head was just so clear and detailed. I did a shitload of work that day. And then I couldn't sleep ahaha
