Alright , well how long can I take 2mg of Xanax daily until signs of addiction will become apparent? A week would be good?

About 3-5 days and you start getting somewhat dependant on it and experience some sort of withdrawl. Anything longer than that expect a greater withdrawl.

So, 2mg daily for about 3 days, then a modest break and I should be fine?

dont know for sure. I take 1.5 mg daily as prescribed and usually theres at least 3 days between scripts where I dont have my medicine. I usually am fine and dont withdrawl at all. Not the most addictive drug in the world IMO.

I take 2 mg a day, have for months. I also run out sometimes before my script is renewed, have went for a few days with only butterflys in the stomach.
