Expired Promethazine w/ Codeine Syrup..?

I found in my cabinet a bottle quarter full of Expired Promethazine w/ Codeine Syrup that expired in '04. Is this any good, and has anyone tried this before, I read some trippy stories on erowid.

i've taken vicodin that expired 3 or 4 year ago and still worked, so i would say you'd be safe taking it, but i'm not a doctor or anything

I took some expired codeine from 2001. As long as it has been kept in the dark and in a sealed container, you should be fine. I would pour it out and make sure there's no mold in it first.

yeah man 99% of medication isnt even biodegradable.
