Re: BEST READ EVER (lsd trip)

too long for me to read

sounds like a very inexperienced tripper, since he couldnt figure out it was just the drug even though he knew, he doubted every thought he had, so how could he have had a true revelation when he doubted his entire trip.. his revelation sounds typical of acid, it seems so amazingly true, but its just a wacked out drug induced thought thats fairly obvious when you think about it.

i read about half of it

i read about half of it
Even so doesn't mean that the drug induced thought has nothing we can learn from it.

Re: BEST READ EVER (lsd trip)

Awesome trip report...I've been fortunate enough to have two experiences with LSD, and this story corresponded almost directly with the insights I had while on the drug.

That batch of cid' came around summer of 07' and I haven't seen it since...such a shame such a beautiful substance is so damn hard to find. But when you need her, Lucy has her way of finding you

Re: BEST READ EVER (lsd trip)

I read it and made notes

- Man goes on personal quest to find himself through LSD
- Gets friend to drop him off in forest, brings music, settles in and prepares for trip
- Early afternoon takes four hits of LSD (1:00 PM)
- Trips face, sees "indescribable beauty" in everything, his surroundings
- Saw a leaf growing and morphing, apparently glorious and beautiful as well, his tent was the ocean, etc.
- Ellaborates his trip, primarily his falling into the depths of a bad one in which he looses his ego and realizes negativity of the world
- Everything conntinues to frighten him; reality is fluid and unexsistent
- Vomited food and blood and thought he was dying
- Felt as if after he had come down, "a burden had been lift off his sholders" and comes to conclusions about life, questions ego multiple times
- Views world as a place of "pure magic and wonder"
- Goes to find a group of boy scouts at 7 in the evening, gets lost, yet finds the group afterall
- These campers are complete assholes and reject his being, they leave, he lays down in a clearing and feelings of empathy and unity arise once again
- Has more in depth thoughts on life and "felt [he] had realized what LSD is [and] felt that it had been created by the collective unconscious of humanity to show humans deeper aspects of reality to help them wake up, ultimately, to the ground of being itself".

Re: BEST READ EVER (lsd trip)

Long Long Long Long Time Ago, There was a Long Long Long Long Read like this.

Anyhow, I read almost half of it, and didnt realize how far I had to go, so I skimmed it

Its a good story though, and the part bout spitting out food it turned to maggots, I experienced that on shrooms...

Don't forget the most important part - the awakening.

Edit: I guess you did include it, just not with the phrasing I expected. Never mind!
