codeine and vicodin?

hey everyone, yesterday I ran out of bud and was searching to see if we had any medicine in the cabinets, and i came across 30mg codeine sulfate pills. They were prescribed to my dog when he had inward sneezing and i was very concerned that the k-9 prescription would be different than the human prescription. *its not*

But my question here today is......

yesterday i took 120mg of codeine for my first time....i thought the body buzz and relaxation was good at about an hour an a half in.

I want to try upping my dose this time for a better more enjoyable experience and I also have only 5mg of hydrocodone left, and I was wondering if taking codeine and vicodin together would be bad.

what dose seems enjoyable to most people for codeine. These are pure 30mg codeine pills no added chemicals.

Try taking 8 of the codeine, its still a safe dose and should be quite fun. Not sure about the hydrocodone though.

yup i took 8 of them. except this time i did i quick chew then drank some juice to wash it down.

i spread out the 8 pills over 30min

and ended up taking the 1 vicodin hour and a half after

does crushing them up have a better effect than swallowing whole??

Yeah, thats true with allmost any drug in pill form because it breaks down faster

are you getting a good effect because you can still safely take a few more so long as they have no Tylonol

The 5mg of hydrocodone won't do shit on it's own, if you took it at the same time as the codeine it might've slightly contributed to whatever you felt but it shouldn't 90 minutes later. They're not dangerous to mix on their own; they're basically just two relatively similar opiates/opioids (whatever).
