Man, that's fucked up. I'm Polish, I can understand him, I feel so bad for the guy. How can an airport not be required to have interpreters, and how can cops justify this fucking event? Ridiculous.

Edit: The man thought the cops were gonna be as much help to him as everyone else, who let him become LOST at an airport for 10 HOURS. He put his hands up, started walking away and they confronted him again, using tasers. Am I the only one who sees that as the most disturbing part. They should've let him walk away and begun scouring the airport themselves for people who speak Polish, hell, even Russian, it's similar enough to Polish to get an idea of what he's saying.

Yes, the airport does have language services, it is an international airport. The police also have their own language services available. They were not utilized at all.

The whole thing is fubar, and the cops involved will walk..

Some more: The police confiscated from the tape from the author, saying they would return it after 48 hours. Of course, they did not release it until a supreme court legal challenge was made.

Actually, I don't believe the officer was jabbing anybody with that nightstick three times. It was one of those collapsible batons. You have to hit it against a hard surface to retract it, which was what he was doing.

That does not take away from the FACT that this was a dispicable act done by those hired to protect us. I find it hard to believe that this was not excessive force.
