Just follow sterile procedure and it is a piece of cake. The PFTek method is the easiest to start with. Casing and agar mediums comes further down the line once you find your comfort zone.

(P.S. coffee grounds are a good nitrogen supplement, plus they tend to adopt the flavor of the growing medium. Interesting things can be done XD)

What else could you put in the jar that would give the shrooms a good taste and not harm the shrooms. Also, if you follow all of the sterile shit you should be mold free, I'm about to start this and im wondering besides just sterilizing what else do you do while the spores are cultivating and growing to make them not mold, someone said something about fanning them? Idk...

Google PF Tek. You don't need a pressure cooker for that method, great for beginners.

I have follow everystep at the fruting part now.How long before I see anything?any guess also the casing is looking a little dry[pulling away from the side]should I missed them?

ive been inspired, once i get a house to get spores to and some extra cash flow to spend on equipment ill be on my way
