Concerning gun discussion

Superjoint (Owner and Webmaster) has noticed some threads recently that have caused him concern. Specifically discusion of guns and weapons. He feels this does not belong at the City, even in Pandora's box. A two fold reason. First, it's illegal in the Netherlands to sell or own guns without a a police permit as their laws are much harsher than the United Sates on guns and gun violence, and secondly guns are something that goes against his personal beliefs and he doesn't want them promoted on the forums.

While people do have the right to bear arms (at least in the United States), Superjoint does have the right to determine what content he allows on his forums and this isn't something that promotes his vision of this place. Rummy and I are in full agreement with him, and this is something he has approached us about, not vice versa.

So we've made a policy to close/delete threads on discussions of guns and weapons on the fourms.
