Has anyone here ever smoked nutmeg? And can it actually get you high? And if so, how do you go about smoking it? I havent smoked in WEEKS. I'm dying

dude dont smoke nutmeg, worst idea. hahah you can trip from it, but you need to eat a shit load, and you can easily overdose from it if you eat too much. the trip is supposed to last for a few days tho, and i here its kinda like a weird unpleasant trip idk from what ive read it doesnt seem to enjoyable at all

bleh i just tried to take a shitload of it by dissolving it in orange juice and puked my guts out. ill stick to drugs that taste good haha

You have to ingest a large amount, but studies have proven that it has similar chemical makeup to MDMA.

If you eat a table spoon of it it's supposed to make you hallucinate and shit. But from what I hear it is nothing like weed. Also, it's dangerous as fuck and very easy to OD on.

You have to ingest a large amount as the above posters stated, from what I read on erowid (http://www.erowid.org/plants/nutmeg/nutmeg_info3.shtml) it takes around 10g to equal a single joint.

Not to mention most people get EXTREMELY SICK when trying to abuse nutmeg. You may get pretty wasted, but it's a sickening high and not enjoyable.

I would not recommend using nutmeg to ANYONE.

Yeah fuck nut meg.. before I knew much about it I tried getting high with nutmeg, except I didn't know that it had to be ingested into the stomache, so basicaly what I'm trying to say is I smoked nutmeg by the bong load, a few times. I got extremely sick and it was pretty bad. I have never seen a positive review for nutmeg, don't ever fuck with nutmeg.

I've done it several times when I had no bud. Smoking it doesn't work, you have to eat it. 1 tablespoon is a strong dose, 2 is very strong. It has all the positive qualities of mj but also all the qualities of a hellish hangover times ten. Plus you can overdose and its not too great for your liver they say.

Try it once or twice if your curious. It does work and can be fun but if your like me you'll quickly realize that its not worth the pain and misery of the 48 hour hangover that lasts the entire trip. DXM is pretty shitty too but its a better alternitive in my opinion.

The best thing I got out of fucking with nutmeg and dxm though is the realization that its always better to just wait for the weed.

Oh yeah, it is also the most vile tasting substance you'll ever ingest, theres no way to cover the taste and it lingers for hours.

Hmm so Ive tried it on one occasion with some close friends. We each ate 5-6 whole nuts and contrary to popular belief it was accually a pleasant trip, and bud seemed to enhance it too... I think the most important thing to get right is the dosage. But the next day one of my friends puked, and me and all of my friends had trouble doing anything but sleeping. Its not horrible but its no shroom trip, and there definatly is a high potential for a hangover. Plus it tastes like shit. So all in all I'd say don't go for it.

I just made this thread... I just eat it (OJ is your best friend if you do that), never tried smoking it. It gives me a mild weed high, no hallucinations, and I take a couple tablespoons. I haven't gotten a hangover except the effects aren't gone when you wake up (depending on when you take it of course). It takes almost exactly 6 hours to set in for me.
