So, i started taking klonopins recreationally 1 week from today, sunday i took half in the afternoon and half at night, they are 2 mg and generic. The next day i took 1 in the morning and like 3 at night, next day i took 4 throughout the day etc.. until 2 days ago the dealer stopped getting them and he got 1mg ativans, 3 for a buck. so i couldnt resist i bought i shit load of them, taking 3 each time i smoked(which is about 4 times a day) my quiestion is since its only been a week since this heavy pill usage started do i need to ween off the benzos with all these ativans i have? i still have 3 k-pins left and a bunch of ativan. so what should i do?! my friends say to go get them perscribed (because i do get really anxious sometimes and i have been having godforbid ...what i think are lymphoma symptoms) so it helps me ease my mind. HELP!

Go see a doctor, they might not prescribe you for THAT but maybe something else to help you.

Whatd you do BEFORE you took those pills? I mean did you NEED treatment before?

i figured if said i couldnt sleep i was anxious all day, and my muscles always hurt theyd prescribe me klonopin or some very similar benzo. Before i took these pills i was chillin now im always worried about how im gonna get them when and where etc. but i really did have panic attacks before i started taking these. so..... opinions?

Alot of it is in your head. I've abused pain pills like hell before. Withdrawals won't last long if you even experience any. It's not like you abused them for a long period of time.....................

yea but im just being safe i had a friend almost die from withdrawling from klonopin or something similar. How long do you have to be taking them to have withdrawls?

i doubt youll have a strong klonopin withdrawal. but in general man lay off the everyday benzos. stick to it on occasion.

You're fine, man. I used to take 40+mg of klonopin in a week and just stop one week every month for a few months.

It takes a long time to get withdrawals that are gonna injure you or kill you.

Just smoke some weed.

This kinda reminds me of the high school days (weren't we all so foolish?). I took 17 k-pins before school one day. It didn't end well.

Meh, I can't stand pills anymore.

Dude, I used to eat Klonopin like m&m's and like the posters before me said, you are gonna be fine. It's in your head, and if you really want to get rid of your anxiety, there is not medication that "fixes" life's anxieties. I know, I took klonopin for 2 1/2 years, as prescribed for "Generalized Anxiety Disorder" and panic attacks. It wasn't until I stoped sedating myself with downers and took on life without them that I learned how to deal with them rather than cover them up.

I really do hope this helps.
