Very true, ive taken doses many times, mostly blotter, but the cig butt will keep you entertained for hours, lighting anything on fire will, be carful about taking to much though, i took 6 hits of blotter one time and i still feel like im not the same, that was a year ago, very bad stressful trip, but enjoy and be safe

Great story, I've always wanted to write something similar to this about one of my trips but I just never get around to it.

Yeah I've tripped many a time on lots of different psychedelics and I often get the kaleidoscope effect exactly like you mentioned. I always see endless snakes of multicolored triangles spinning and flying around, it's ridiculous. Whenever I see weird patterns too, like crazy patterns on drapes and sheets and table cloths, the patterns morph into faces. Get lots of the "heat distortion" effect too. I love psychedelics.

You should try DMT and document your trip like you did here. I wish I could organize my thoughts and write about mine but I never end up doing it.

This story is 100% original and hasn't been posted on erowid, only here.

However, I did get the inspiration for writing it after reading other trip reports that I felt were not as detailed as they should be. It's very hard to put the whole thing into words, but heres a little disclaimer I thought i'd throw in for people that want to try it after reading my story.

LSD is not for everyone, it is the most powerful psychedelic drug known to man, and the duration of the trip can exceed 12 hours. If you are dealing with depression or something troubling has happened in your life recently I don't recommend it. It will intensify whatever thought your having 100 fold. You REALLY want to do everything in your power to have a good trip, because you will NEVER forget it for the rest of your life. Everytime I talk to someone in real life about LSD, and find out they have done it and we exchange stories, I feel the wierd excitement, as if telling them about how I went to Mars or something far out like that. Usually people really dig my story because it was very nuetral, it was mixed with moments of fear and moments of beauty. That is what makes it so interesting.

On the other hand, it is an amazing tool for true exploration of self. It totally takes your ego away so you can think new thoughts, and embrace new ideas about existence and reality. If this sounds interesting to you, be sure you are around people that will help guide your trip in a positive direction.

It is very spiritual and something I have no need to take again. Once was enough!

If you have mental disorders of any kind, ESPECIALLY skitophrenia in your family, do not take LSD as it can trigger schizophrenia earlier in your life than would normally occur. .

i got some lsd, just waiting on the perfect day. Should I throw away any thoughts of worry I may have? Wondering if I need to be ready for any sensations I might get on lsd or if its something you can flow with easily? I'm really looking forward to exploring my mind, just hope it goes well. Ill keep benzos in my pocket as back up plan.

I thought a drop was around 2 tabs...3 drops is just fucked up! I cant imagine, ive never done more than a tab and that was scary!

I say you go for it, BUT, a few tips.

1. Trusted people around you only.

2. Have all your FAVORITE music. If you get uncomfortable, put some of this on.

3. If you do end up taking it, and you feel any panic because of the intensity, you must realize you just have to ride it out and ENJOY it. Feel the awe, and it will fill you with happiness. Throw fear out the window.

That's about it.

I've heard this before to, that 2 tabs = 1 drop. However, this assuming that your tabs are 50 micrograms each, and your drops are 100.

If the average tab is actually 50 mics, then I would say the acid I took was equal to 9 tabs. Assuming my drops were 150 mics a piece.

Using that logic, I guess I took about 9 tabs. If anything, it would be more then that, considering the acid I had was straight out of the dropper, fresh, and hadn't been exposed to much light or oxygen and was dropped directly on my tongue. Lucky me, right? Right time, right place.

Also, it didn't cost me a penny. The funny thin g about people who have done acid is they LOVE turning new people on to it, free of charge.

LSD is great, nice story. It's pretty much impossible to measure your exact dose, unless you happen to know the chemist who made it. Sounds fantastic.

I've had to deal with hiding from my mother with 3 friends, all tripping balls in between this fence and our hot tub smoking a bowl.. We all were about to bust up laughing the whole time, but the fear was intense.

I couldn't imagine what it would have been like to be in that dark building thinking the cops are on to you, and could bust in at any second. I'd shit. haha. I think you handled it well, +rep.
