How does MDA compare, trip-wise, to MDMA?

mda is bad for your body (in excess). its more trippy and music sounds better. some people cant tell the difference between mda and mdma. i think those people are in-experienced. haha.

mda has lost its magic for me. i wont eat a pill with mda in it anymore. pure molly ftw.

I took a MDA/MDMA pill and rolled for like 9 hours no joke. Then the next night i took 2 of em and i tripped out. Crazy visuals and i was all paranoid...saw like 20 police cruisers outside my window and cops walking around everywhere..so i would say a little MDA is fine but 2 pills was too much for me to handle i guess

MDMA seems to have a universal effect.. body roll, sensuous overtones, opening up of the emotions, and so on. Some of the MDMA gets converted to MDA in the body, so that's why some people think it is similar.

Thats where the similarity ends. MDA, taken in small doses with MDMA can be great,.. it gives a "speedy tail" to your roll. but:

MDMA lasts 4 - 5 hours

MDA lasts 8 - 10 hours.

Both durations are on doses of about 2mg/kg of body weight. Normally people take about 100 to 125 MG of MDMA to get rolling. MDA is a lot stronger of an amphetimine, and doesn't give you the body roll. It is much speedier. It lasts longer. It doesn't open you up as much, if at all, although you do feel pretty good.

And, as always, I've noticed that many people who say MDA is similar to MDMA are the ones who combo drop or drink alcohol during rolls. That dimishes the roll's effect , and so MDMA would never get to its peak in that case, which is why it seems like MDA is the same to them.

The visuals on MDA are called "static" visuals. They are overlays on your environment and closed eye lights. You don't see full on hallucinations unless, perhaps, you take too much (as the previous poster mentioned).

So, MDA is less of a psychedelic, more of an amphetamine.

PS: One more thing.. MDA does not act with MDMA, it acts apart form it. What that means is that taking them together, as long as the MDA dose is normal, will give you a regular 4-5 hour MDMA roll, then another few hours of MDA only, hence the phrase "speedy tail". If you take a low dose of MDA, like half a hit, along with your MDMA the tail will be shorter and more gentle, but will still last a couple of hours. The primary roll will be much speedier than on MDMA alone, and so dancers often love doing these together in something like 2:1 MDMA/MDA proportion.
