ok well idk if this is stupid but hell im curious. i know there are frogs in which for protection produce a psychedelic substance to make the predator trip/hallucinate so it distracts them form eating the frog. all im real curious about is what frog species is it? is it popular for recreational purposes anywhere? could u sell the chemical as a liquid or on a tab like acid? anyone ever try it and comments if so.

/also dont think im stupid thinking its real because of the Family Guy episode or the movie The Big Trouble b/c it is real... i think

There are a lot of misunderstandings about this issue. First, you're probably thinking of the Bufo toads. There is at least one species of toad (Bufo alvarius) that produces venom which contains 5-MeO-DMT. much debate about this and other species of toad that have venom which contains bufotenin. Most, if not all, analyses of toad venom have shown only traces of bufotenin. Bufotenin is likely active at a similar range of doses to 5-MeO-DMT insufflated, smoked, and oral use.

But, you asked about frogs. The frog is used by Peruvian Indians to produce a toxic stupor prior to going hunting. It is rubbed into burns on the flesh--it contains VERY toxic chemicals called batrachotoxins; don't try this one at home. Chemists have extracted epibatidine from this frog, and it at one point showed promise as a "non-addicting" analgesic, but the research was abandoned for reasons I don't remember.

yea i read it up on erowid, didnt quite understand it all but got the just of it i think. so d-dmt causes more visuals right? and yea i knew they were different but thanks for the knowledge.

i've never done the actual bufo toad, but i tried the bufo toad idoser and it fucking blew me away. It was one of the only i-dosers that actually worked for me. Right before i did it i smoked a bowl of some dank, put on some studio headphones and listened to it, then immedietly afterwards smoked another bowl and i was blow away. Everything was moving all around me, and my whole body began shaking violently, almost like a small seizure. This was the first time i had a panic attack just becuase how intense everything was. My vision is still pretty impaired to this day, and if i stare at something long enough it'll start to move around a bit. I wonder if the actual bufo toad is anything like this, and if so, i'd say stay away. It wasn't too fun, i wanna sue those I-doser bastards. But eh, what can ya do?

You can order those frogs online somewhere....ive seen them a few times. Theyre pricey tho.

one is a colorado river toad, u used to be able to buy them from bouncingbearbotanicals either a male female or both, but i think they stopped sellin em
