In a situation where you were only able to save one, would you save the baby or its mother?

I would choose the mother. The way I look at it is, its a baby that would have more of a hard time surviving the event, drowning, fire, etc. Also, the mother has more to contribute to society than the baby.

So i would have a sure chance of survival.

You're hurting more people by letting the mother die. People are on an emotional scale with the mother more so than the baby, a lot more will grieve. The mother has built her life years upon years, it's like destroying the sears tower compared to a mom and pop store.

Does this mean I promote dead babies?

that depends entirely upon how we look at this;

if its an animal of some sort we're talking about, then i would almost indefinitely choose the baby. as i would then have a chance to raise it on my own, something that has always been a small dream of mine.


but should it be a human id try to save both. just be like look momma im gonna get you outta here but you have to hold on to that fuckin baby real tight ok?

and she'd be like, "yeah, oh yeah. . . i will."

if not, mother has lost all use, save the baby.

so true and exactly what i was thinking, even tho its a serious scenario i had to laugh a little about the mother losing her use

If the mother can't save the baby herself she sucks at being a mother and the baby probably shit all over itself... So screw them both.
