I hate adderall

Yea so im prescribed adderall for my ADD, and i absolutely hate it. I mean i love that i can actually sit down and study when i need to but i hate the side effects from it, like clamy palms, loss of appitite, and the anxious feeling i get in my stomach when i take it. I dont see how anyone can take this stuff recreationally.

I am thinking about taking adderall for school purposes...i find it IMPOSSIBLE to sit down and study, even to go to class, but I dont hate school. Is there anyway to get rid of the bad side effects because I also hate them. Any other awesome little pills i can take to get rid of the side effects of adderall

Thats the problem it works wonders for me. When i dont take it i cant pay attention for shit, but when i take it i remember everything.

I dont know of any pills to get rid of the side effents, but for me to get rid of the side effects i just smoke weed and my hunger comes back and i dont feel all anxious anymore.

see when i take adderall weed does NOTHING for me at all. I'll smoke a 1/8th to the head and just get red eyes, and not high or hungry at all. But like you, I kill it in school with it, without it im a foolish tadpole.

i went to the doctor TODAY for this very reason.
i am in college and find it impossible to study/do homework.
i always tell my self there is better things to do...
a lot of the times i go into the basement, in a conference room, all alone and CANNOT do it.

i just sit there.

Yeahh, I used to be addicted to the shit.. Ask about methylphenidate (Concerta, Ritalin) if Adderall's side effects are too distracting for you.

Same thing happens to me when I take what's pretty much an equivelant (phentermine). Total waste of weed.

Ehh.. Given, phentermine is an amphetamine, but not "pretty much an equivalent" to Adderall. They're both isomers, but they don't have the same functional groups, making each have very distinguishable effects so no, I wouldn't say they're anywhere near equivalent.

Hence why they're never prescribed interchangeably.


EDIT: When I say Adderall isomer, I'm talking about dextro.

I meant more effect-wise. Insomnia, loss of appetite, the whole speedy feeling, etc. I've personally never had adderall but I figured they were pretty similar as far as the effects go.
