Acid is like swimming... if you cant swim, why would you go to the deep end? For example mammaliformes ("almost mammals") and then mammals existed throughout the reign of the dinosaurs, but could not compete for the large terrestrial vertebrate niches which dinosaurs monopolized. The end-Cretaceous mass extinction removed the non-avian dinosaurs and made it possible for mammals to expand into the large terrestrial vertebrate niches. |

Its funny, about an hour before finding out he died, i had an intense flashback. My heart was beating so fast and strong, it still hurt the next day, at the time i was convinced i was dyingand having a heart attack, everything was so beautiful and inviting, begging me to let go of life. I was ready for death, but something in me, clung to life.....
I dunno, just thought it was weird that this happened right before finding out Hoffman died of a heart attack. RIP good sir, you have reached the next realm. |

I heard about it yesterday when I got off work. I went home and took 4 hits for him...
It's ironic they say that psychedelics reduce your lifespan. Dr. Hoffmann was known to take acid frequently, even into his 80's. I'd love to find and read his final memoirs...
