Klonopin and Weed is one of my favorite all time highs! He can't deny himself that amazing treat!
It's just an incredible feeling, with NO paranoia or anything similar... it really adds a lot to the high. I recommend it! I have been prescribed klonopin since I believe it was November of last year and I love them (as you can see by my sig) When it all comes down to it... Benzos + Cannabis = Good Time Iv been from .5mg a day all the way to 2mg a day (which I'm on right now). I suggest to try it taking 1mg and smoking a little bit to see how it effects his high, I can almost guarantee he will love it. Because I love kpins so much... ![]() ![]()

Klonopin (Clonazepam) is a benzodiazepine. It is used mainly to treat anxiety. Not your short-term panic attacks like xanax, but longer-lasting anxiety. It has a much longer half-life, generally lasting about 3x as
long as xanax. It is technically stronger than xanax, but most people prefer xanax recreationally as klonopin effects a lot of people differently. As you take it longer and longer your liver learns to break it down more and more, eventually it can actually stop working for you all together. Also, because of Xanax's shorter half-life, it packs more of a "punch" for a lot of people, I find klonopin to just be extremely relaxing, but I personally have a very odd tolerance to benzos (I have taken over 7mg of klonopin and felt sober as a priest on a sunday, along with high doses of plenty of other benzos). When I take 1-2mg of klonopin and then smoke, I notice any paranoia and anxiety go away, I tend to enjoy my highs much more. On top of that, the very noticeable thing for me, is that normally I have extremely tense muscle, especially in my shoulders. With the mix of Klonopin + Cannabis I feel every muscle in my body relax... again, especially my shoulders. It's an incredible feeling. Here's the comment from my last +rep, just to give ya more of an idea of how great kpins can be: Quote:

Sorry to rain on all your guys parade...but here's another side to this so called Klnonpin.
First off, this stuff has one of the worst withdrawals known to the human brain. People who try to go cold turkey after taking klnonpin in excess for extended periods of time risk withdrawal symptoms as serious as psychosis and even DEATH. Don't believe me? My sister had a seizure on a bus less than a week after stopping the use of klonopin. She had never had a seizure before in her life. She fucked up her bottom lip real bad during the seizure and doesn't remember anything except waking up in a hospital. Doctors recommend "tapering off" klonopin, as in slowly....very slowly....reducing your dose. So what feeling does it give you? Couldn't really tell you as my only personal experience with klnonpin was snorting half a big light blue pill with my sister. I was smoking bowls. The feeling was noticeable and I would just say it intesified my relaxation. It removes paranoia completely. But it is so not worth fucking around with these things. They can start a long road to perscription pill addiction. These little pills do MUCH more harm than good. Marijuana is the appropriate medication for people with anxiety. It lacks the addictive properties and debilitating withdrawals that most legal perscription pills have. |

Do you know what it takes to get to that point, though? More than pretty much anyone can expect to take. It was a very stupid idea of your sister to go cold turkey.... VERY stupid, as you said, you ween yourself off, or if you want to stop taking it they'll prescribe a less powerful benzo such as ativan. Seems to me like you're sister didn't understand the risks involved of quitting like that. And addiction... it all depends on the person. I'v taken 30mg easy in a week and just stopped with no problems whatsoever, not just once... but about one week out of every month. You have to be smart about your actions, like I said... it wasn't smart to go cold turkey, no use in blaming the drug. But I do agree that cannabis CAN be a much better medicine for anxiety, but it varies from person to person. I'v used cannabis to treat all of my problems, I only take pills every once in awhile. I used weed to help motivate me through school, help me concentrate, motivate myself to be productive in day-to-day life, ease all my aches such as back pain, cured my depression, helps amazing with my anxiety, helps me sleep, the list goes on and on and on... but that's just me, ya dig? I will say, though, if you have the right ones, klonopin can be very fun to insufflate, although can lack effectiveness, it gives a really really nice cold feeling in the nostril, no burn. Almost like ice.

Secondly, yes it is addictive and people who take it with a prescription I'm sure are told as such. My boyfriend's mother said that within the first few sentences of her recommending it. She's personally been on it for a few years and she has knowingly never upped her dose, which is a pretty small amount. She does find it necessary every so often to skip pills here and there when she gets tempted to start taking more. It's a matter of being informed about what you're putting into your body and how to deal with how it effects you. Thirdly marijuana may not be physically addictive, but people can still become highly dependent on it. It works many wonders, but nothing is quite the same as working through your problems outside the influence of drugs. I have had multiple friends who didn't know what it was like to be sober for weeks on end trying to run away from their ills. You can use it to work through your problems, or you can use it to run away from them. It all depends on the person. It could be your saving grace or your undoing. For anyone want to see what I'm saying as far as withdrawals...go on google just type in klonopin withdrawals.
Alot of people like to describe it as "Hell on earth". Really that bad? For some....YES! here's 1 persons symptoms I hope you are doing better. I went off my Klonopin after taking it for two years, one pill a day, every day. I did not see a doctor about how to get off the stuff, but I did know that it had to be done gradually. Maybe that is why you are having such symptoms? did you suddenly stop taking it or gradually go off from it? I too had a difficult time getting off the stuff even when I was cutting back. I had chest pains/difficult breathing, increase of panic attacks. I also kept getting twitches in my brain, which are kind of hard to explain. that was the worst of the withdrawal symptoms, I believe. it was like a popping sensation every time I moved my head. Unfortunately I have relapsed back into using the medication again to help me sleep, but I wish that I hadn't. I do not take it regularly, and I've been having weird symptoms. the worst one is this throbbing sensation in the side of my head, a very localized pain. I do not understand it, but believe that it is caused by irregular use and thus could be a withdrawl symptom. I feel like I'm suffocating a lot of the time too. If you are still having problems, you may want to talk to your doctor about how to cut back gradually and safely, but I do hope you are better now, as that post was written almost a month ago. I think when I quit the first time, my withdrawal symptoms lasted just about two weeks. |

Two days ago I took 2mg of K-Pins and blazed some bowls. It felt pretty good, but I wish I had had more to take.
Anyways, the next day (yesterday) I felt very relaxed. Normally I feel very anxious and over analyze everything and freak out, but it was quite the opposite! And today I feel very panicy again. Right now I have butterflies in my stomach again. I still haven't heard back from the school I'm trying to transfer to yet. And I can't pick classes at my school in case because I missed the date and even the date for housing. I'm freaking out. I know I'm not going here next year but if I don't get into the other school it's ruin all my plans for next year. I'll have to go to a community college for a year and maybe even the second semester if I miss the deadline on those, then I'll be half a year behind everyone! I'm freaking out! BAH! But I got two job offers from CareerBuilders in the mail for summer work. $10.50 at one and $9.50 at the other. I have to save up for an apartment in the town of my school with my friend so I need to work 40+ hours a week this summer. Oh yeah did I meanttion I'm quitting weed on Sunday? Sunday will be my last day blazing for at least 30 days. I need to be able to pass the drug tests for the jobs, and I need to save up money right now for a car ASAP, and I feel I need a tolerance break. We'll see how it goes. Anyways, I actually think I could maybe use this medication because of how I felt that day and the next day. Or maybe it was a placebo? I dunno. Whatever, my family can't afford that right now anyways, never mind the psychologist and therapist I'd have to see.
