peyote grows here in south texas ive been hunting for it before but never found any i know alot of it grows in McCook

Eh well in that case I'd rather pay 40 bucks and get 2ft worth of san pedro cuttings than wait a year to grow it..but Idk it might be more rewarding to grow it myself and just grow like 10-20 of them a year :P

Dont take Peyote from nature. Like I said, they take 15 years to grow, dont take an endangered species from nature so you can trip. Thats extremely selfish, especially since there are legal, more easily obtainable alternatives.

40$ is what you will pay at Home Depot or Walmart. Smaller nurseries will be much cheaper. I only payed 9$ for mine.

Once I get my tax refund check, should be here tommorow I hope, I'm going to go get a bunch of fun stuff, hopefully some cacti clippings

Edit: Questions if you can answer.

1) Could I just blend the cactus up, drink that whole drink, and have the effect

or

2) Do I need to use an acid (such as the lemon juice) and could I just add the lemon juice to the blended drink, then heat to release the alkaloids, then drink (without boiling for a few hours, and removing the pulp)

Well you wouldn't want to just drink the cactus straight from the blender , this is because all of the cactus pulp that will still be in the mix . In one of the pics that he has posted you can see all of the pulp in a t-shirt .... you definatly don't want to drink all that gunk . The Point of boiling for a few hours is not really to release alkaloids , it's to reduce the volume of the drink . If you were to try and drink it without reducing its volume... you would have a hard time getting all of that shit down . The lemon juice just helps release some of the alkaloids from the cactus , but you definatly still want to reduce it .... Try to imagine drinking like a half-gallon of the most bitter, nasty sludge that you've ever had in your life , that's why reducing and filtering with a cloth are so important .

P.S. I would just follow this dudes instructions , this is one of the easiest methods that I have seen... and it definatly worked for me , well worth it .

I would say probably not , unless you actually use the extraction method to get actual mescaline crystals . From what I've read most san pedro is around 1% mescaline (even though it can vary greatly) , so that means that either way you will have to use about 300grams of fresh san pedro to get a 300mg dose of mescaline , or 30 grams dried san pedro . I think normally though you want a higher dose than 300mg of mescal , I've actually used about 535grams of fresh san pedro and I still feel like I could have tripped alot harder than that .

I only used 4-6 tablespoons , that worked fine for me ... might have been too much .

Hopefully I'll be able to find some cacti clippings tomorrow, assuming I get my tax refund and theres a store around that carries them.

The reason I questioned the boiling is because I don't have a stove I can use for 3 hours to boil it, someone in my house will ask what I'm doing, so I was seeing if I could just blend up a cacti smoothy.

I'll have to do it at night or drink a half gallon of nasty sludge, or maybe I'll make a cactus pie. Regardless its all wishful thinking, I still need to find some clippings somewhere, however, after seeing this thread cactus has jumped to the top of my investment list, I'm definatly excited/anxious to try some mescaline.

Yeah you need to boil it after you blend it. Like the other guy said, you dont want to drink that shit, its foamy and extremely fiberourus. itd be like orange juice with extra pulp. It it tastes awful. There is no exaggerating how terrible this shit taste.

Just follow the tek and you'll be well on your way

Yep thats about how much I used also, maybe a tad less.
