So what is the trip like? Is it intense? Ill do this if its an out of my mind kind of thing, but if its just as intense as say 2 hits of regular LSD then I dunno. I want to freak out you know...I takes a lot of acid for me to freak out, so would i need more cactus?

A Mescaline trip is on an entirely different level than mushrooms and acid in my opinion. It is not the sort of thing you can take recreationally like shrooms and acid and have a fun night just hanging out with friends. It plunges you deep within your mind and spirit and lets you explore the depths. The trip is incredibly internal and mystical in my opinion. It is so hard to explain.

wow you are a special one. san pedro and peyote are 2 completely different cactus. you dont buy san pedro to make a peyote cactus lol. and no I wouldnt waste my money, because salvia is legal most places. Mescaline is illegal almost every where. Its extremely unlikely someone is selling mescaline on ebay.

Its not really intense. Mescaline is very subtle and gentle, and the come up is about 2-3 hours before you realize that you are tripping. Why would you take a psychedelic to freak out? That seems kind of silly to me.

Mescal is a beautiful drug.

Sweet tutorial. The acid/base is pretty self evident on what you do, but then again if you dont know what an acid/base extraction is, i guess it isnt.

I look forward to your next mescaline a/b tutorial because i like pictures and seeing the final product.

I've done that same method with san pedro cuttings ( purchased of ebay ) , and it definatly makes you trip out . The only thing about san pedro compared to peyote is that peyote has a lot more active phenethylamines , and the trip is actually suspose to be more intense . Bouncingbearbotanicals.com sells mescaline cacti for pretty decent prices .

BouncingBear sells a lot of bunk product. I talked about them earlier in this post. I have heard nothing but bad things about the quality of their stuff. The only good thing I have heard about BBB is their prices. And thats probably because they sell bunk shit.

I agree, Peyote contains a lot more mescaline and a variety of other alkaloids

Maybe they do sell some bunk shit , I can't really say either way . But I can tell you that I tripped balls from san pedro that I bought from them . Also , I ordered kratom, and ayahusca? ingredients from them and they were definatly good .

Hmm..it would be a lot easier to just buy san pedro cuttings from ebay for ten bucks but I might just do that for the first time..is it legal to buy seeds for peyote and how long do they take to grow usually? I might try growing some after I move.

no peyote is extremely illegal and its not worth cultivating anyways. it takes 10-15 years to mature. San pedro can be legally grown and grow at a pretty quick rate during its peak seasons.

How long did it take to get a 2 ft cutting.

Also, I'm pretty sure I can get some active cacti at the local nursery, however they are all only a few inches tall, and have only a single column.

Any information on how long it takes to grow these fuckers, and the likes.

Edit: I'm reading up on them on erowid, I guess you can cut them and they regrow (pretty cool) except it says they take forever to grow, so its going to take me like a year to get a good cactus growing. But they are only like $6 so Ill buy one soon.

I think a lot of youngsters trip to lose their mind. More mature people use it as a way to reflect and explore within themselves. I dont mind tripping for recreation, dont take it the wrong way. But theres a difference between having fun and freaking yourself out. The human brain isnt something that can be fixed.

Not really. Like I said half the fun of tripping is losing your mind. The other half is self reflection and spiritual journies, enlightenment etc. Its just both sides of tripping to me. And a lot of people. Obviously someone who freaked out a little on some good acid is not gonna be like, Oh shit, that trip sucked ass. Theyre gonna be like Oh fuck that shit was SICK. Some people just like it dude, it has nothing to do with age. I guess it has more to do with what you can (or cant) deal with. Some people need a lot of acid to freak a bit, some need just one...you gotta find that limit sometime bro

I actually found 2, 2 ft. cuttings at my nursery, The cactus that im growing right now arent going to be for consumption. I couldnt bring myself to eat a cactus that ive been growing for years.

Keep looking around, you can find mature active cactus.

San Pedro grow very quickly, sometimes 12-16 inches per year. But pedros are one of the quickest growing active species.
