First of all, great post. I really got a lot of great info our of that. Also, I have a question (maybe this should be its own thread, but i was hoping someone could answer it here).

Ok, so I have a friend who is a pretty big dealer and just got a bunch of mushrooms. He had never shroomed and did it last friday with a bunch of people. Apparently every person ate an 1/8, and no one really felt the effects. My friend says they were "too fresh and not dried out enough" Now the dealer is offering me a half oz of these for $50 and saying that if i take a quarter, i'll trip. I'm really skeptical about this and don't want to waste money on fake shrooms. Is there any way, i can dry them to make them more potent? Thanks in advance.

He got some bunk shrooms and is now trying to recoup expenses by selling them off to unsuspecting people. First off, the fresh to dry ratio for mushrooms is 10:1, so for every 1 gram of dried shrooms you eat, you would need to eat 10 grams fresh for the same experience. These people at the party all ate 3.5 grams of mushrooms and did not feel anything. You can not confuse even a slightly wet mushroom with a totally dried shroom, so if these shrooms were not dried enough, it would only be slightly, unless your dealer has no idea what a dried shroom should look like. Eating 3.5 grams of partially dried mushrooms would still give you effects.

Im actually going to try and get shrooms next week. Im probably only gonna get an 1/8th, since thats all I can afford right now.

I'm not to sure for the ratio as here my dealers are doing the drying. I never fell on wet mushrooms, but I heard it was disgusting coze they are still juicy and you must eat more than dry ones.

Your friend probably never saw some real mushrooms ? Tell him to find someone who has done them before, buy some with this person who should be able to recognize mushrooms by look, texture and smell. Usually, there's only 1 or 2 kind of mushrooms going around, so it's not like you should learn the mushrooms guide to recognize 'em.

Also, I should say you get good prices, I get 1/2oz (14g) for 70 (Canadian), and people around here respect de 5$/1g, tho you can get it for 2$/g at larger quantitites. I don't know about your region but investigate about the prices and you'll know if this guy tries to get rid of 'em fast.
