NA's Poppy Pod Tea Guide

This has got to be one of my favorite tea's that I make. Also one of the most easily made and obtained tea. Poppy Pods contain a variety of codeine, morphine, and several other opiates.

Materials Needed:
Poppy Pods
Pot
Water
Old T-shirt we will use as a filter

1) Take your poppy pods, poke a hole in the side (about the size of a pen) and remove all the seeds (or as many as possible). Then crush the pods up as fine as possible. Powdering is the best way.

2) Add 1/4-1/2 cup of pods for every 1 cup of water to a pot.

3) Bring the water and pods to a boil for 5 minutes. Then reduce to a slow simmer for 25 mins.

4) Cut your t-shirt into a square that we can use as a filter to keep the chunks of pod out of the tea.

5) After the 25 minutes is up. Empty the contents into your filter over a glass. You should end up with a nice light/ medium brown color tea.

6) Enjoy!

I only drink 1 cup of tea when I dose and I use about 1/3 cup of pods. Use caution when dosing. And consult www.Erowid.org for more information about poppies.

hmm, so i'm guessing you just have to find or grow some poppy's to get the pod?

and, why not just use a coffee filter instead of a shirt?

annndddd, last question (sorry for all the questions bro) what kind of high does this get you? a nice mellow one im guessing?

Well I get my pods at XXXXX. You can buy them relatively cheap, generally between .65-1.00$ per pod.

I like using a t-shirt because the cotton keeps the big pieces out and then you can twist the cotton shirt up and really squeeze the juice from inside the pods. Im sure you could use a coffee filter, just personal preference. Ive cut the same old t-shirt up like 6 times already making filters :tongue:

it gives you an opiate high between hydrocodon and oxycondon. its a very niiiice body buzz

Sure are, but you'll have to wait for the official release

The best way to extract a lot of substances is with heat and water. Im sure ill be publishing some more Tea Guides in the near future.

I think i've seen those outside before? but i'm not positive

is it possible to buy them in stores anywheres? or would I have to ebay it

like, maybe buying an actual poppy plant from a store and harvesting pods of it or what?

Yeah Poppies are a very common plant and completely legal to grow. You wont find dried pods many places and if you do, they are probably treated with chemicals and you wouldnt want to ingest them.

You could always grow some of your own. but it takes a lot of poppies to actually have a nice sized crop.

Ebay is really the most efficient way to go. I just payed 17.50 for 25 pods. those 25 pods will make atleast 10-15 doses for me. I think thats a good deal.

What variety of poppies are they? They have very interesting looking pods, I am growing some poppies right now, but the pod is more round like a marble (although bigger but not by too much). Perhaps I have a unusable variety..

you know im not sure what pods I get exactly, Im not really sure if all poppy pods would have some opiate content or not. I know that whenever im looking for pods, Ive never got bad pods. But im sure you could find the answer somewhere online with people who know more about poppies than myself.

is there any way to get the opiates out of it without using this tea method..

like... powder form?

not that I know of. atleast not with dried pods. With dry pods you are pretty much limited to a hot water extraction method.

with fresh pods, you can actually get fresh opium out of them which will dry into a tar/gum like substance. But its very hard to get fresh pods unless you know somewhere where poppies are actually growing and you sneak and pick them for yourself.

lol, you smoke it. not like opium. it is opium. that is exactly what tar opium is. its the extract from fresh pods.

So like 2 pods per dose? You said 25 will give you 10-15 trips. Your joking right, thats all you take? What happens if I take like 10?
