I've been wanting the try shrooms for a while now but I've always been worried about bugging out because even when I smoke too much weed I can bug out so obviously I would be worried about shrooms. I read basically everything I could have read about shrooms on the internet and have turned them down a couple times because I knew it wasn't the right setting to do them. So I talked to one of my closest highschool friends who now goes to a different college not far from me and he also wanted to try them. He has his own dorm room so this past weekend I went to him and we were gonna finally do shrooms.
His room is pretty big for a dorm room, he has a tv with a gamecube and two roundabout chairs. Above his tv he has one of those really trippy posters (kinda like this

So we woke up on Saturday at around 2pm, one of his friends came over to drop off the shrooms, we got an 1/8 for $35 and we were planning on splitting it down the middle. We went to get some lunch and some snacks and brought it all back to his room. At 5:00 we each put our half 1/8 on a slice of pizza and ate it. We started playing Zelda Ocarina of Time (we are both amazing at the game, each beating it many times in our lives and we both know exactly what to do in all the parts of the game). About 40 minutes after eating, I found myself with a huge smile on my face with my eyes wide open staring at the tv screen. Some time went by, I was tripping pretty good but Zelda was keeping my occupied and it was great. I would look up at the poster and it blew my mind. All the colors were so vibrant and after concentrating on it, they all started to blend together and the lines were slowly waving in and out. While I was immersed in the poster, my friend was still talking to me, I think just asking what to do in Zelda but I had no idea what he was saying and I didn't care, I was deep inside the poster. We then decided to go out to his car to smoke a joint. By this time it was dark outside but everything still looked so good and perfect. I was walking as fast as I could but I was probably taking a step every 2 seconds or so, it took me forever to walk to his car but I just could not walk any faster. We lit up the jay and put some music on in the car and I think this was the peak of my trip. The smoke coming off the end of the joint with the music being played (this was the first music I heard on the trip other than the Zelda music), it was all so perfect. I was so intrigued by the smoke, it looked so damn cool swirling into the air. We then went back to play Zelda and a little while later two of his friends came to the room, friends who I hung out with the night before and had a blunt rolled and asked us to smoke with them. As soon as I saw them, I didnt like it. I don't know if I just wasnt comfortable with them since I only met them the day before or because they weren't on shrooms too but I just did not want to be with them. So my friend went back to his car with the other two and smoked the blunt while I stayed in his room and played Zelda. I was playing the water temple (if you havent played zelda, its the most confusing level in the game) by myself and without even notcing what I was doing, I beat it somehow. So my friend came back and we played more and finally around 4 hours after eating the shrooms the trip was subsiding. A little more time and I was completely done. My friend tripped for another hour or so, so that was interesting seeing him trip while I was done. So finally we were both done and he took me to the train station and I went home.
For my first time on shrooms, it was amazing. The only bad part was when my friend's friends came in the room but the quickly left and it was ok. Everything else was great, I felt amazing the whole time. I think a big part of it was that I was so occupied with Zelda, there werent really any thoughts going through my mind. I did go to the bathroom a couple times and looked in the mirror which was really weird. I found myself looking weird in some sort of strange way and my eyes so freaking huge, I have brown eyes but there was no brown, the whole thing was pupil black. I'm extremely happy I did it and even though it went great, I could easily see myself bugging out in a different setting so I'll have to be careful in the future if I do it again.
