propoxyphene and marijuana

If anyone is familiar with Darvocet N-100, I would like to know what a good dosage would be to feel good? Remember, it also contains acetaminophen.

Also, is it safe to mix with marijuana?

Well, I took four. That's 2600mg's of acetaminophen and 400mg's of propoxy so I guess it may have that opiate effect i'm looking for. Hopefully.

you didnt take 2600mg of ANYTHING unless u weigh like 250... propoxyphene is the drug in heroin just liek THC is in weed propoxyphene is in heroin. idk what ur talking about because darvocets dont have propoxyphene in them they have acetaminophen and something else. the only pill i know with propoxyphene in it is extra strength tylenol PM and its such a small amount that u have to take about 12 to get high off them and thats usually overdosage possibly fatal. so i just mix like 2 of those with like 8 darvocets or 6 ultracets. so either ur bullshitting or u dont have ur facts straight. acetaminophen high is nice but 800mg will feel like 12 beers if u are about 6' 150lbs u will sleep really heavy and wake up possibly with coldsweats. everytime u come off a pill induced high check how u feel. if u have cold sweats and or naucious or u threw up during or coming off ur high then lower the intake by 100mg next time. the N-100 is 100mg i knwo thats why im saying them in multiples of hundred. i weight about 140 now and my maximum intake (i cant remember where i checked this) but its about 1392.07070707 (repeating) mg of ANYTHING it said. so i take about 12 of those and i get so close to OD i freak out and dont do drugs for a week straight. i did 800 last night and it was easy i woke up nice and went to school early.

im sorry i didnt see. u have ur math wrong. theres still no propoxyphene in darvocets. but there is 2600mg in the BOTTLE of pills but divide 2600 by four because u multiplied what it said on the bottle by 4 because u thought that was per pill. thats not possible per pill. 2600mg will not fit down your throat i think. im not trying to be putting u down. but divide it by four and then divide it by the number of pills in the bottle originially and that should tell u how much of each drug is in each pill. 4 wont get u high unless ur an infant (exaggeration) but if u are about 6' 150 then take 8. DO NOT LISTEN TO ME unless u understand that u are making that disecison on your complete OWN judgement.

@OP, you're not gonna get much outta the Darvo's... They're not worth eating. They don't get you very high, and the damage done to your liver isn't worth it.

Yes, it's safe to eat them and smoke pot. I've done so before with no adverse affects... Read the link I gave you carefully, though.

And no, they are not "the drug in heroin"... Heroin is processed from the opium poppy, as are all opiates... So they're in the same family... But there are varying strenghts of these drugs, so to compare something as weak as propoxy. with heroin is just absurd.

no its not dude, it is an opiate, a very weak one at that. they kinda suck compared to vics, perks and oxy. jus dont go over 4,000mg apap in a day. i hate darvs cuz they have so much apap. but they get the job done

Is it too much for people to stay quiet if they clearly know nothing about what they are saying? As others have said Darvos never worked for me in any dosage where the acetaminophen wouldn't be too harmful (I've heard up to around 4000mgs is safe, but I'd be too worried about the liver damage from that amount - I drink alot). I'm not sure if you could do a cold water extraction on them as you can with hydrocodone and oxycodone, but I'd look into it, then you can take a large dose without worrying about adverse effects from the acetaminophen. Just look up the solubility of propoxyphene in water. Good luck.

EDIT:: Wait, I just noticed that the guy I quoted is talking about acetaminophen highs. Ummm... People take up to 1000mgs for headaches (recommended dosage on my bottle of extra strength tylenol) and ummm... that rarely kills the headache, let alone makes you feel like you had 12 beers. Maybe you meant tylenol 3's? The ingredient that fucks you up in them is codeine though, not apap. Damn man, I need some of the shit you are smoking.
