Weed and growing up
So the other day my friend and i got in to alittle argument, he says if someone was to smoke weed alot before going through puberty or while going through it there is a chance where it slows down the development of the body. Does anyone know if this is true or not.

its not for anyone, it was just something we had different views on and i wantted to know what one was right. and im pretty sure there is no legal age where u can start smoking pot

I've heard it can affect how one matures... As in a person who smokes when they're younger won't mature (mentally) the same way as someone who doesn't. The process can be slowed by a pretty good amount, apparently. I've read several (good) books/articles on the subject. As far as I know it's not really a major deal in most cases, though. But with some it can be... One of those kinda things...

I agree. MJ's been shown to increase the likelihood of developing schitzophrenia in users who's brains are still developing - though these cases are rare.
