the seeds are legal to posses....like i said earlier growing the poppy is illegal but i seriously doubt you get any hassle especially if its in the backyard or inside

Chances are the "mellow" that you are feeling from this is all in your head. Most poppies do not have opium, and chances are the poppy seeds you pick up at the grocery store are NOT opium poppies. It is illegal(in the US, don't know about elsewhere) to grow Papaver somniferum (opium poppies) but other poppies are perfectly legal. This is because other species of poppy don't contain opium.

For anyone having a hard time finding the seeds any grocery store with a bakery has them just go up and ask I got a pound for 2 bucks from giant eagle, im going to whip up a batch and see how it works right now.

Ok definently not gonna try this, smoking opium is not a handy replacement for weed nor is it something id even ever try unless i was like 70yrs old or something, if you wanna try it go ahead but people have been known to get seriously physiologically addicted after trying it just once. Its the Pandora's box of drugs, once you open that lid it can never be closed again, i know myself that i have enough trouble cutting down on smoking weed never mind something which is 10 times more addictive, has serious physical withdrawal symptoms and if i was addicted 2 would cost me 18 thousand a yr, i dunno about you but that wouldn't leave me much in terms of spending money or food for that matter. Most likely just end up another addict on the streets.

I just made some poppy seed tea....1 lb of seeds, juice of 3 limes, hot water. Let it steep and shook it for about 15 minutes..

It tastes terrible. I only got about half of it down so far. Fuck it's awful...but on a better not, feeling it already for sure. Very, very relaxing.

i just recently tried opium just once, and i dont have a lust or urge to do it again. It all depends on if you got a connect to the drug or not. i only see opium once in a blue moon and even then i dont have an urge to smoke it. Sometimes i will other times ill smoke some herb.

hahahahahaha, opium being the "Pandora's box" of drugs? you know nothing, young one. Try shooting Dilaudid (hydromorphone) and then smoke opium... compare how addictive they are and then PM me. that is all.

I wouldn't really recommend this to anyone...the benefits don't outweigh how disgusting this mixture tastes/smells.

I really wasn't that fucked until I hit a bowl of the juicy fruit I picked up last night...on a related note, I am in possession of the biggest bud I have ever seen in my life...it's 12.6 grams on it's own.

It could have been in my head, i do have some experience of when she is legit or in my head, i went into this thinking it wouldnt work, so i do belive i had a high, of of what ever i was smoking, as for if it was opium, im dumb founded about opium so i dont know, and as for if i was seriouse about this, i was not, it was just for something to do, i was harrassed by the weed community at school ( hahahha, yeah its more like a bunch of guys that smoke crack with a bud stuck to it ) either way, its just something to do. As for my health i can shake off quite abit of addictions, ( as im going out the door for a fucking cig....)

I did make a tea with it, from one cup and about a finger nail size it got me to this "MELLOW" state for like 30 min, but if you like that just have come codein (SP?)
