Sup guys, I just got back from checking up on my plants. My biggest plant, which is like a week old, still has its cotyledons and one set of serrated leaves a little bigger then the cotyledons. It's kinda raining right now, not pouring hard or anything, just a pretty gentle rain, and the plant is just laying down right now. I think it's a little tall for it's age and whatnot and the stem is still pretty thin and it's top-heavy, causing it to fall down. My two others have only small cotyledons and are really small right now, so nothing happened to them. So will it get back up? It's been pretty cloudy and it's in the shade some of the day so I suppose it might not be getting enough light. I can go back in a couple hours so should I maybe prop it up with like a tooth pick or something?

Exact same thing happened to 2 of my 13 dude. Corto said it was my soil mix since I went straight peat for starting seeds. Looks like one may make it. I buried it up to just below the leaves and have been misting it with a watered down kelp solution. What's your soil mix like?

Thanks, my soil is just 50/50 native soil and leafgro compost with a little lime for Ph.
I'll snap a photo while i'm up there, i'm going in like an hour.

The advice I was given was to add perlite. Helps the little roots breath. I transplanted my whole grow yesterday to0 a 60% peat 30% perlite 10% rabbit manure compost mix and they perked up. Gave them a little lime to cover the top soil and misted them down with that watery kelp solution and they all perked up a bit today.

How severe is the pinch on the stem? Mine was practically folded and one of them seems to be perky but the other is going dark green and wilting.
Hard to say man, I just took the weight off of the damaged stem and hoped for the best.

Well the stem is really flexible right now due to its young age, so really no pinch.

probably just weather beat down then man. my plants had visible pinches in the stems like something came up and choked them. IDK if it will live though. Has it perked up at all? you may need to cover it up with something until the weather improves and it gets its strength back if you cant bring it in. I use old plastic pots you get when you buy a tomato plant or whatever from walmart or an old car hood. Depends on where the plant is, lol.
