What are the odds of an unattended northern lights auto grow next to a water source, being succesful if I come one time a week to tend to them. It will be impossible to make fences, etc around them but can find a hard to get to area for most people and deer. It will be in the Colorado wilderness, but on a friends land. He is medical and has extra seeds from nirvana, and I would tend to them (I'm medical as well).

well with the northern lights autos, they flower based upon time not daylight change. If you go once i week i honestly think you would get a descent harvest but not the best. They are automatic so they need less work. But there is still the risk of mold, vermin, deer ect... and since the seeds are nirvana they are have a good strain. To sum it up yes you should get a harvest if you don't get mold or animal problems. But the golden rule of growing. YOU GET WHAT YOU PUT IN! Cheers man

Hey thanks!! We both live 40 minutes from his land but head that way once a week so I can't afford anymore gas than that. But if it was just a little closer id be there everyday. Is there a certain way or area I need to plant it by the water source or can it be in damp soil consistently? Also the seeds say bug and animal resistant due to extremely low odor and resin appeal ,,,any thoughts?

Once a week is plenty. Fishing line will be your best friend as far as keeping deer away. String it up around your grow. The more the better. When a deer approaches your plants and hits the fishing line, they freak out because they can't see whats holding them up. It works wonders for my site. You can see the deer tracks come up to the fishing line, then you can see where they freaked out and leaped away. Its pretty cool. There are also some repellant products out there that can help.

Also, why are you using autos? You could certainly do a regular photoperiod strain and get them to produce more quantity and quality.

Sweet ! I will definately be picking up some fishing line. I'm doing autos as my buddy has 12 feminized auto seeds and he just wants to use them. I am also a caregiver so I can have up to 30 plants half in veg half in flower. I will be adding three different clones as well of Cinderella99, blue lights, and a durban poison. The clones in a different area. How should I go about placement so that they are watered?? It will be next to a creek.

Well I am quite close to a school and can't chance it. I also have a five year old and won't even mention cannabis around him when in conversation. I also am a youth pastor and have tons of youth come around and they are too young to know that cannabis is not bad but actually a gift from God to heal. Jesus even used cannabis, and was anointed with cannabis oil .... started preaching but anyways just a lot of reasons .

You should be fine, I would plant it 10-20 ft away. I know the cartels set up drip systems with their grows in Cali. You could do that for your ladies. I hate that people like you hide your medicine from your own children. Do you hide the aspirin? what about the stuff from the pharmacy? As a parent you should educate your children the goodness of marijuana not hide it. I commend you for wanting to deep it out the hand and sight of kids. What kills me is you turn something legal into something shady and to top it of you are supposed to be a man of god and spread his word.

Truly I thank you so much for your response it is a great help. To be completely honest I feel that you have misjudged me. I do hide my aspirin and I do hide oxycontin or any other medication as it is not something that I socially proclaim. However my child is 5 and when he is old enough and ready to learn the to benefits and healing of herbs and Gods plants believe me I will be the FIRST to teach him. The other reason I do not grow at my house is that I host other people's children, and it is not my responsibility nor is it my right to have any medical influence on another man's child.

Sorry and 1 more thing if we are talking about being a man of God, I must say God says don't do anything that can cause any other christian to stumble. To me when it comes to my medical cannabis I believe that would mean that has an influential leader I could actually stear these youth into thinking that getting high is the same thing as medicating therefore drugs in general are ok. They are just too young in my opinion to understand .

yeah really, he is being very considerate of the other parent's children. Where all of us like cannabis, they may not. So he is being a very considerate adult by not letting someone else' child be influenced by something that their parents may not want them to be exposed to. What is wrong with that? And i agree with him that 5 years old is far to young to try to explain that a object kids are raised to think is bad and scary is actually not and is the complete opposite of what they have been told. Kid's just don't have the maturity and brain power and experience to interpret this.

thank you so much for your support mccanntm!! believe me I cherish and appreciate more than anything cannabis. I have nothing against it whatsoever even to those to use it only 4 getting high. I have a non traditional opinion in which I understand that God created these plants for a reason, or why else would he create them in the first place? I really hope I didn't offend anyone and I love all you guys in the grasscity community!!

wow, I've never met a youth pastor or any pastor that was green friendly, I feel like I'm an outsider at my church because of smoking, thanks for enlightening me, colorado22.
