Conditions in Canada

What kind of Weather Conditions are required to sucessfully grow marijuana in Canada? I live in Nova Scotia, if anyone has ever grown here please shed some light. I'm looking for temperatures specifically aswell as the time in the sun that's required. Thanks

I have been an avid outdoor grower in Ontario for a couple years now. As you already know, Canada doesn't exactly have the best weather for outdoor growing, mainly because of our late last frost and the early coming of the first frost in October. This year we have been VERY lucky with lots of humidity and temps reaching 30+ daily.

To successfully grow a nice crop, you would pre-veg your plants indoors in April, plant them in May/June when they are about 3/4 weeks indoor vegd. The one thing Canada is good for is rain, almost daily. This makes it very easy to leave your plants alone for long periods of time, leaving your grow spot almost unattended.

There are another 2 main factors for a healthy grow, bugs and storms. Your plants should have a little bit of protection from the storms we can get down here. If they are in a deep forsest it should be fine, but some foliage or chicken wire is always a good idea. For bugs, Neem Oil or Organic Bug Repellant should do the trick.

I only have 1 problem as I am unable to grow indoors. This summer over my way we've had absolute SHIT for weather, 6 weeks of my summer has been rain or shit weather
Would you suggest anything else otherwise if I'm unable to have any sort of operation indoors? They'd be in the middle of nowhere and its in the woods.
