Low Temps at Night

  1. In my neck of the woods, the low tonight is forecasted to be around 42 degrees F. Should I be worried? I moved my babies outside a few days ago and I am trying to get them accustomed to outdoor conditions. I know this is past the freezing point, but I just need some opinions/experiences.

  2. if they are seedlings it could stunt em early. Make sure they are under some kind of humidity hood. youll be fine though, my plants have been through 2 nights of 28 F and theyre fine

  3. Well, I put them in my barn overnight to avoid any potential frost from forming on the small leaves. These plants are still quite young (4-5 days) and are beginning to form their first set of leaves (not the cotyledon).

By stunted growth do you mean that their growth will be slowed temporarily or can low temperatures cause a permanent growth problem?
