Chronicon's Outdoor Grow 2011

Welcome to my 2011 outdoor grow journal!!!!

This grow is where I take all my information gathering, trial and error and small experimental grows from the past 3 years and apply it all into one medium scale grow attempt that I am positive will finally give me the result I am looking for.

Ok I have spot #1 already up and running, here is what I got...

I have six Himilayan Blue Diesel in 2L pots (I think) and one Heavy Duty Fruity in a larger pot, and I have a friends Sweet Deep Grapefruit clone I just transplanted into a 4 gal bucket.

The Himilayan Blue Diesel (HBD) plants are labled 1,2,3,5,6,7 (# 4 died)
1,2 and 3 sprouted on 4/5/11
5,6 and 7 sprouted on 4/15/11
Heavy Duty Fruity (HDF) sprouted on 4/15/11

All of the autos are in FFOF with perilite,compost and bone meal added here are the pics:

Just got the first rain since the day the first seeds popped, I thought i was going to have to lug some water out there


anyways Ive got the soil in spot #2 and I got one bag of miracle grow organic choice. I am going to try and compare the final product with my ffof mix. All I got to do is figure out what to grow and then get some pots out there. And and thats where you guys come in...


Do you think I should grow aboute 10 HBD autos? (regular)

or aboute 5 Chrystal photoperiods? (regular)

I may go through my free seeds I got with the promo and plant one of those, possibly Darkstar or the new Sour Candy by g13

I want to get this spot up and going as soon as possible so let me know your opinions!!! I plan on getting the pots and putting the seeds in the soil in the next 3 days!!!

Ok well I decided to go with 5 photoperiod plants and plant autos with any left over soil.(hopefully)

I've got all the pots out there and plan on putting the seeds in the soil tonight.

I may go to the spot and snap some pics, I still need to get that mericle grow soil out there. I think I'm going to try and dig holes and cut the bottom half of the pot off but I think there may be too many roots in the ground

here is a little update


Ok so #1 turned out to be the first female of the season showing sex at day 22

Its kinda weird though becouse the males always show first with this strain and the other two that are the same age are undetermined (Im hoping its cuz there both females)

#6 Was on its side so I put some soil around it and its lookin good now (except it turns at a 90 degree angle)

Ok so today I went to spot #2 and I only had enough soil to fill up three buckets for three photoperiod plants, I plan on filling up 2 more large buckets and a few small ones for autos. I will be planting the seeds tonight.

Ok so I went to the new spot yesterday and decided I am going to try somthing new, Instead of using the pots I decided I am going to try my first grow with just holes. Im going out there today becouse its pretty nice outside, its only 84 compared to the 95 yesterday. Im going to completly get rid of all the pots and water bottles from last year and clean the spot of anything else that looks unatrual. I should have some pics later tonight.

So anyways I dug four holes for photoperiod plants and I am going to dig four more small ones for autos. I think that it may turn out awsome now that my roots arnt going to be restricted to the pots.

I am completly new to this so any advice would be greatly apreciated.

A little info update...

HBD #2 turned out male

For some reason I felt so bad killing it...

HBD #3 is showing hairs but I think it might be hermie, if not 2 out of 3 is a good ratio.

The SDG clone is starting to do what I call clustering (when the flowers start growing side by side)

It's a good thing too because I thought it was going to get too big for that bucket but now it looks just right.


I planted One Church one Chrystal one Sour Candy (SC) and one Darkstar.

I also planted 4 HBD autos and I'm going to plant one more to replace the male. (I've only got about 5 of these left, I need to make some more )

I should have some pics up when the seeds pop.

your spot looks alot like one of mine, are those honeysuckles? if so, be FUCKIN CAREFUL, i got chased by bees the other day from my spot because those honeysuckles just attact em like crazy.. ah well good for security though ha

Good you added the church! I have heard good things about that one.

I don't know if there honeysuckles but the other day I took out a small tree that landed on them and a bunch of bees were swarming all over me!! I've never been stung so I got the hell out of there.

Anyways I got a bunch of miracle grow soil out there today (it was free) I'm going to try and grow the autos out of it sense those arnt as valuable to me.

I'm looking forward to growing the church (If it pops) I've never seen a seed of that size before so I'm excited.

I will have pics of spot 1 in 2-3 days.

they look like honeysuckles.. yeah be careful that's like bee heaven! yeah i could hear a low buzzing sound.. i was there long enough to see my plants and then realized what that buzzing sound was and GOT THE FUCK OUT...

Ya I know that MG isn't the best around but I mixed It with some compost and other stuff so we will see what happens.

I was digging a hole today and my damn shovel broke

So I just used the rest of the soil in the pots, right now I have five holes, two large pots and one small pot all filled with soil totaling out to 8 possible plants.

Now I just pray to god all my seeds pop...

I should go out to spot #1 tomorrow and take some pics.

Its funny that you would say that, all the seeds just pushed through the soil this morning EXCEPT the Church, it's really worrying me...

If this seed doesn't pop, I might cry.

Any ways I just took pics of the plants yesterday and will get them up when I can find my way to a computer.
