Re: Another Grow - 2009

I appreciate all the well wishes and kind vibes. I had gotten lazy over the summer but now I'm back in gardening mode. Will update this thread as things happen.

Hope all you summer gardeners have huge frosty nuggets getting ready for harvest.

Re: Another Grow - 2009

4 of the 6 plants put out to flower turned out to be girls. The boys are becoming compost and the remaining four are grooving in the Sept. sun. Two more are still vegetating in the growbox and I started another seed last weekend. that should stagger the grow thru December at least.

Oct. 25, 2009

I guess the excitement of my first few grows has worn off. I'm not nearly as attentive to my garden as I once was but it is still coming along fairly well. I am experiencing a rash of caterpillar damage. Every evening I have been picking 4-5 of those green bastards.

Anyhow, nice nuggets forming. Four of the plants have been flowering 42 days and the other two are 24 days into flowering. I'm having problems with the images, hope this works.

The closeup is AnnieIce. It make the most but the blueberry/ice cross (BlueIce) makes tighter nuggets.

Yep, they're both seeds I made last year. I have a butt-load of 'em.

It did get down to the low 40's last Jan. and some of my fan leaves got wind burned. so long as the plants are well matured and don't freeze, I can grow all through winter. I have more problems growing during the summers. Too hot and humid and pest ridden.
